The place is gloomy no magazines or picture books for residents. Most of the time no ones at front desk you do not see much staff. He complains of the food. I got late notices of the family meetings.
My family member was admitted to Braeview for a five week respite stay. Although she seemed happy there, the nurses were so unprofessional that it was frightening. I could not get a clear answer to any question, even one as simple as, “ did she eat” or “is her bedroom clear of her things” or “ have Her things been packed to go home”. The usual response was something like, “oh I don’t know” or “I wasn’t there” or “I’ll find the aid”or “I’m from the agency”, all while sitting behind the desk or standing at the med cart refusing to move. Their behavior was so unprofessional it was embarrassing…

Their behavior was so unprofessional it was embarrassing and despite the overwhelming kindness of the Activities/Admissions Director I cannot recommend that anyone trust Braeview nurses with the care of a loved one.
Not only is BraeView Care and Rehabilitation a great home for individuals needing long-term or short-term care, they also provide therapy programs and behavioral health! The staff remains consistent with giving each resident compassion and assistance. BraeView also is one of the few locations in the industry that accepts Medicaid pending- allowing family to be less concerned with admissions and more focused on their loved one.
I have never been in nursing home but I was wondering why the aides were told to that I was a runaway child when that was a nickname Mr bizzell gave his wife, he put me out his home and told me just. To let him know where I am and that I was alive, gave me permission to use his daughters I'd cause girl ran off with mine,
