Brethren Care Village

Brethren Care/Belmont Village is, unfortunately, a disgrace. The facility is severely understaffed, and that understaffing has a significant impact on the quality of care residents receive. What is particularly frustrating is that even when residents are assessed and billed for a higher level of care, the staffing and quality of care do not appear to increase accordingly. The billing issues are also an ongoing concern. We have experienced charges for services such as private aides when, in fact, no private aide was present. These kinds of billing discrepancies are extremely troubling, especially when families are already paying substantial amounts for care. Families entrust facilities like this with the care, dignity, and well-being of their loved ones. Unfortunately, our experience has been that the level of staffing, care, and accountability falls far short of what residents and their families deserve. This facility needs to do much better.

My wife and I joined a monthly membership for the warm pool. The cost was $89 per month billed to our card automatically. The pool was always too crowded to actually swim. We requested to cancel our membership and Brethren care won't stop deducting the $89 from our bank account. They said to contact our bank. We had to cancel our card and have another re issued. If you decide to join pay cash and don't give these people you card or banking information. Additionally, I paid cash for the deposit on the key fobs and have yet to get it back. Check is pending. There's something crooked about a place unable to stop taking a payment from your account. I wouldn't want my love ones in this place.
