4.7 · 22 reviewsI’m a healthcare provider who goes into different facilities to see patients so I have the ability to see how they all compare. I have to say Ashland Village is one of my favorites. The staff is always so kind and the facility is clean. I would 100% feel at ease if my loved one stayed here.
My mother is a resident there and absolutely loves her dining room server Judy. Please tell her that the Reep family really appreciates her special care of our mother. Thanks so much, Jeff Reep
Very nice staff. Care givers seem to be very caring and understanding. Under new management. Things seem to be going very well. All the ladies need a recommendation but I’m so bad with names I can’t single out anny one. And they all should receive acknowledgment. I have other friends that have just moved from another facility. They are thrilled with the care they receive. I think I would recommend Ashland Village (Lutheran Village) to anyone in need.

I like this community because it is smaller and there are not as many residents as there are in other communities. I feel like having a smaller community is beneficial to the residents that are here. They have activities here like ping pong, bingo, movies and popcorn and more for the residents to do to stay busy. They even have a manicure day where they paint their fingernails for them.
LVA staff is caring and attentive. During the chaos of COVID they did their very best to keep us up-tp-date and aware, as well as tried to plan activities that kept us connected (despite how hard that is to do) with all the restrictions. They went above and beyond caring for my mom when she got COVID... nursing her back to health and making sure she had someone with her to monitor symptoms and keep her company. I highly recommend LVA for your assisted living needs. Newly renovated. Beautiful surroundings, caring staff.
My mom has been at Lutheran Village since 2016. The staff is wonderful. During the pandemic the staff has gone out of their way to make sure we got pictures and updates on any events mom attended. The staff was very creative with coming up with different ideas to keep the residents engaged when outings were not allowed. Because of the staff’s personal interest in each resident they each feel as if they are the “favorite “. I would recommend Lutheran Village to anyone looking for assisted living.
