Facility and the people are nice, but the food is awful. My mom complains all the time. I once shared a meal with her and I had him agree.

This place is so great it’s absolutely beautiful and amazing the staff are great they make you feel welcome
The management is very unorganized. No follow through. Rooms don't get cleaned, sheets don't get changed. I, as their daughter and advocate, have to keep in them all the time to get things done. Very frustrating!! I feel bad for the patients that don't have an advocate.
What they could improve on - Giving meds appropriately Cleaning pulse oximeter between using on people Checking on people more than just looking in a room thru the door without actually walking into the room to see if the person is ok Keeping dementia people from entering other people's rooms and trying to climb into bed with them Calling the squad without being told to do so when a patient is in obvious severe medical distress I could list so much more but my lunch break is over
Overall experience was good. The facility was clean and the staff was friendly and caring. Administrators were helpful. They offered a nice variety of activities but my mom couldn't participate. The food was good. Only one time was there a dinner no one liked. While still very expensive I feel the cost was close to all other assisted living communities.
Our family has been very pleased with the level of care that our loved one receives at Brookedale Buck Creek. The staff are caring, kind & interact well with the residents. They have a lot of fun events for residents & family. We are thankful that our dad feels safe living there & he enjoys the staff:-) I would highly recommend Brookedale Buck Creek!
