This is rehabilitation and assisted living facility. Full time physical therapy and occupational therapy staff which are great. Nursing staff are 75% good to work on taking care of your needs. 25% not great with agency nurses filling in the missing staff. STNA aides are an area for improvement. Like anywhere else some good / some bad. The one peeve I had was all staff on their phones conducting full conversations with others via the ear buds. Many times thought I was being asked a question, but it was the person on the phone. Music in one ear doesn't bother me but both ears puts patients at risk. Biggest complaint was food quality and preparation. They post weekly menu, but that's often a suggestion or the cooks take liberties on prep. One example was bbq quarter chicken dinner, looked forward to it. Served shredded chicken mixed into rice with BBQ sauce, Horrible. Took pictures of a chili cheese baked potato dinner. Potatoes were tiny, not fully cooked and chili was edible. This is a side item and not a meal. Brought this up with the Administrator and DNO. Residents friendly, mostly. Hang out with smokers group to meet people.

Beautiful campus! The assisted living is amazing and the apartments are huge! The DON is very friendly and always willing help/answer questions. The clinical team is well educated and care about all the residents.

I witnessed an employee of theirs get handled unprofessionally. I was assisting their employee to her assigned shift, traffic was a bit bad and once notified of the slight delay the company unassigned her and blocked her from their platform. I had to get off an exit early and take her back home. The way they handled her was so wrong. As if she was a second class citizen. No regard for her consideration or efforts. Just terrible. Poor way of handling staff members.

The night staff is the worst.

This is a horrible horrible place don’t let the first or second floor fool you I was placed on the third floor in a room that had roaches the bed didn’t work the call light didn’t work it looked like an old army room it was horrible I have pictures and they need to be reported do not stay here

Wonderful staff very caring people.I really appreciate everything the staff has done so far i would recommend this facility to anyone looking for a caring place for a family member

I absolutely love this place, especially the vent unit. The girl takes very good care of my mother and is so nice and very professional. The best vent unit that I’ve ever seen and I’ve worked in medical for years. Brookwood in Bluash, Oh

I want to share my experience at Brookwood Rehabilitation Facility after undergoing surgery for a broken hip. Overall, my time there was positive, especially in comparison to my hospital stay. The staff consistently greeted me with smiles, even during the challenges posed by a snowstorm that affected staffing. I appreciated the dedication of the physical and occupational therapists. They were attentive to my pain management and validated my feelings, unlike my experience in the hospital where my pain was dismissed. I would like to address a previous concern regarding housekeeping. I learned that the cleaning staff is unable to move personal items, which may affect how thoroughly cleaning is done. The staff member who handled my cleaning was professional and apologized for any inconvenience. One area for improvement would be the gym equipment, as some items could be updated to better support patient rehabilitation. I experienced some delays when requesting assistance, but I understood that emergencies might arise or that staff could be limited at times. Nonetheless, the staff worked diligently to address my needs. Having been to multiple rehabilitation facilities previously, I can appreciate the care I received at Brookwood. Overall, I would rate my experience positively and commend the team for their efforts.
