I moved to Clay Gardens from Grand Junction, Colorado because my family wanted me to be closer. When I arrived and was shown to my room I fell in love with it, I was finally home! The staff here have made me feel safe and they are very accommodating. The housekeeper we have is excellent, she can even fill in when we are without a maintenance person, pretty handy with power tools or a mop. This summer we had a tornado warning, the staff came around and closed our blinds and moved all of us into the hallways. They performed all of this while keeping all residents calm.

Very happy with my living here. People and staff especially now are much more approachable and happy. Very appreciative of everything they do for me. Very clean community. Housekeeping is top notch she goes over and above and this very well appreciated!

They need accessible handicap doors to get out and in to all courtyards. I can not get door open by myself. I have a wheelchair and walker and not much strength. Staff is very nice and I like them and they like me.

This place when we moved our loved one in it was great but at that time excutive director and her leadership was great and then when she was let go for being truthfully honest and new management came in this is when it all went downhill for our loved one including given the wrong medication and was not charted in our loved ones records by a agency nurse. The care drastically went from being great to horrible. We had no intentions to moving our loved one but this made us think twice with all the horrible care given to our loved one left us no choice but to find better for our loved one so we did not have worry about our loved one when we could not be with them. We did find a much better place in Zanesville and our loved one is now getting great care and we do not worry about it at all. Our loved one is much happier in the assisted living community they are in now. I do not recommend Clay Gardens unless you change management. There is only one nurse I will say that was outstanding there the whole time our loved one was under her care her first name was Lisa and she was great.

We toured Clay Gardens Place. The staff was very attentive, and everyone was very nice and respectful. Overall, we were kind of impressed with the layout of the facility and the way it was set up. They had a little entranceway where the residents could put their own things out the way they wanted, and it was a nice way for them to personalize their living space.

Clay Gardens Place was really nice. There were God-fearing people there. I liked it. The facility and the rooms were clean. They had activities such as church services. They were playing guitar and singing Christian hymns. When I got there they offered me a cup of coffee. That made an impression on me right there, like I was part of the family, and it was kind of family oriented too. Tracy went way beyond expectations of service. I was having a bad day that day, and I was getting ready to get an operation, and she took me to the hospital after I got done there. I was able to accomplish everything I needed to do that day. They were not only worried about my housing, but they also looked after my health, and that was a blessing from God. I don't mind giving them a five-star rating because they really did look out for me. The people there looked pretty healthy, so I'm sure they fed them pretty good. The people were excellent to me. The spirit there was very Godly. There was no negativity at all. There were no people complaining about how they were being treated or anything like that.

I would like to say this place is a 5 star rating. They have awesome staff that take great care of the residents. They have members of management that go above and beyond for the residents. I would recommend this place to anyone.

We took a tour and my mother enjoyed it. Was explained in detail and answered in detail all the questions dhe had. Would recommend if family was looking for a place.
