I am extremely disappointed with the level of care my mother has received at this facility. Two month ago my mother was left sitting in an soiled pullup for approximately 30 minutes before being changed and claims this happened quite a few more times since. This was after being told to just use the bathroom on herself after asking for assistance to the bathroom. I was a nursing home aid in my young adult years and coworkers would refuse help to assistant residents because it much easier to do everything themselves. They want your parent or grandparents to be bed bound. But not too needy because then they'd actually have to do their job. My mother has also made it appoint that staff are more attentive to residents whose families visit frequently, which raises concern of consistency and fairness with care. Every family situation is different, they assume that because you dont frequent, you do not care for your family member and therefore neither should they. This behavior is disappointing and we cannot feel confident that our loved one is being respected fully without being present. Before admission,we were told that my mother would be able to shower when she wished. But when she tries to excerise it aids are agitated and remind her she has 'specific days'. No resident should ever be made to feel like a burden for requesting basic hygiene and this includes being changed. To make matters worse, their were frequent unpleasant odors throughout the facility, suggesting prompt resident care is not being recieved throughtout the entire facility. Families place tremendous trust with longterm care facilities to take care if our loved ones. But unfortunately, based on our experience, I cannot recommend this facility and would encourage others to exhaust their options before locating their loved ones here.

If I could I would rate this place a 0 ,my sister was put here for physical therapy and died within a week, the nurse wouldn't even talk to the family about what took place that morning, we just would feel better if we had a good understanding about how was she that morning she passed away what was taking place had she been feeling worse than usual, we knew she had a lot of health problems but no phone calls or anything telling us if she was feeling worse or anything just a call that she passed away, She was only 50 years old, I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone they should be shut down, her stuff wasn't even unpacked or put away, her phone was dead her charger to it still in her bag not unpacked, we her family were 3 hours away from her , Listen up families I recommend if you have to put a loved one in a nursing home, do it close by so you can check on them every single day, we now have this on our hearts , till we meet again my little sister, I love you 💔
