I’m from out of town and was visiting a family member here while they complete rehab. Overall, I’ve had a really positive experience! The facility is beautiful, very clean, and feels welcoming. There were several nurses and aides who went above and beyond for my family member like Tony, Jackie, LaRhonda, Olivia, Journey, and so many more who were VERY kind, attentive, and helpful during our visits. I would honestly give this place a 10/10. The only issue we had was that the worship room was locked on several occasions, which meant my family and I weren’t able to have our service in there. I’d…

I’d love to see access to that space improved because it’s meaningful for families who want time for worship and reflection!
Mom 92 is grateful to Dr. Ali and staff at Advanced for providing exceptional care after her hip surgery. Nurses JK and Jordan were awesome. Mack was awesome to take mom to her appointments. Kim and Justin excel in rehab as they accommodated to the needs of my 92 year old mom with back and knee issues while there for hip rehab! "Slowly but Surely" rehab has done wonders for Mom, as in just a little less than 3 months after her surgery, she is traveling all over the USA, walking up to an hour at home and going shopping (her fav past time) every day. Special thanks to Clarissa, Crystal, Desaray, Jackie, Jelissa, Journey, Miranda, Patrina, Sophia our greek connection, Tracy, and Trey (bro from another mother). I am sure I missed someone! Mom sends her ❤️. These skilled nurses aides make all the difference!!!! Happy Mothers day to all at Advanced!!!! Rahul
Phone just rings and rings. No one answers when you try to call the main line when your loved one calls you on your cell because they need assistance but cannot locate the call button. Also they just leave your loved one sitting in a chair 3 hours without checking on them.
Shamia, has been the best & the team is amazing, we love the staff & facility!
Our Mother spent 13 days in rehab at Advanced Healthcare. She was provided great care by the nurses and therapist. She even adopted a son there (Tremaine -Tre’). He along with Larhonda, Mya (the Twin), Jackie, and all others (can’t remember all the names) were very comforting, professional, patience and kind to her needs. We were very pleased with the services there and highly recommend this rehab to others and Jody Mitchell the Social Worker we can’t Thank her enough for helping us with our needs. She’s the best and works hard. I would come in by 8 each morning and she would always be there yet working. Thank you all and May God bless each of you.
While still in the hospital, I was asked to sign a permission slip to be transferred to this facility. I was sedated on pain medication (it's illegal to do this when a patient is medicated). A Dr. (not a social worker) came to "sell" me this particular rehab center. AHC was a beautiful, clean place and for the most part, the staff was kind. I was placed on a mattress that had stiff deep ridges in it which made it impossible to sleep. My complaints about it were met with "somebody's going to check it". Three days later, I threatened to sleep on the floor. My new mattress came the same day. A few of the aides (night) were extremely rude and condescending. They would come into my room and leave without emptying the bedside commode (for days). They would wake me at 4:30 a.m. to dress for breakfast (at 7 a.m.) then move my clothes so I couldn't reach them. No compassion whatsoever. One aide and one nurse yelled at me. The nurses were for the most part professional. The food was "iffy". I was served a regular diet when I needed a low fat low salt diet. I lost 7 pounds in 12 days due to taking pain meds on an empty stomach. None of the nurses knew that I had to eat something first. PT and OT were good except for one therapist who wanted me to walk a certain way which other therapists said was was wrong and detrimental to my back. I was interviewed for speech therapy although I had no speech problem. I did not receive any psychological support at all. I told them I was going to leave against Dr's orders. They told me if I did, Medicare would not pay for my care. I have since learned this isn't true. After going home I received home care from the same company. They came twice and never again. They set up a discharge interview and then didn't come. This company is also owned/controlled by AHC. I fired them. Tracy Bonner is the one shining star among all the aides. I'll never forget how kind and helpful she was. I dare you to show this review with all the others.
Amanda is an excellent cook and incredibly attentive to her patients. She always took the time to check in and made sure I had an excellent meal Ty, Tamika, Michelle, Tracy, Miranda, Miyah, Jackie, Renee, Patty - Excellent patient caregivers The physical therapist, Emily C, Kelly, and Andrea, were excellent physical therapists
My father recently spent multiple stays at Advance for different issues over the past year. The staff was caring. attentive and ultimately made sure he got better up until his hospice care. Jodi - the social services manager - was especially terrific and became a huge support to our family. We highly recommend this facility and thank them for all of their wonderful and compassionate care.
