Some of the nurses and aides were really good and the housekeeping and dietitians. PT was good for the most part until he yelled at my husband because he wasn't quote unquote trying hard enough. He passed away a few days later from septic shock. I believe this was caused because they were using equipment room to room without cleaning it. I would recommend trying palliative care first if possible instead of nursing home rehab. One doctor to oversee all of the rehab patients they get maybe 2 minutes of time. It just is a bad situation all around.
Mom was admitted to Fulton manor from Fulton hospital. When she arrived there was confusion on her care. Once she was given a room is when all the problems started. Her blood sugar needed to be taken before she ate to know how much insulin she needed it was never checked. We were told it was to be given on a sliding scale. Mom was on five liters of oxygen in order to keep her oxygen level up. One early morning I came in to be with mom for the day and mom said she was having trouble breathing which come to find out the oxygen wasn’t turned on at the wall all night long. I did point it out to…

I did point it out to the nurse and her comment was I wondered why her oxygen level were low. So we had hospice of Ohio start taking care of mom until we could get here transferred to Hospice of Lenawee. Mean while I was questioned by a shift nurse why we weren’t using there nursing care. I did reply by telling her the issue we observed. Mom went from walking and talking when she arrived at the manor to with in two day she was bed ridden and could not talk. We took turns staying the night with mom until we could get her moved. Seen the manor doctor once. Room was always cleaned nursing was accommodating when you asked for something.
My Mom is a resident at Fulton Manor in Wauseon . She and my family are blessed with the all of the employees here . From the administrator, the nurses , the healthcare aides, the dietitians, the therapists to the people and laundry. They are such a great team that work together to give my mom the care that she needs.. I don't know what we would do without them. They really are an answer to our prayers. They are so kind and caring to my mom and all of us. Our community is blessed to have this facility and our town.
My gma worked in the kitchen years ago. Was also a resident after she had a stroke. Great staff they took care of my gma as she was one of thier family members
From the little time I have spent at Fulton Manor, I have come to the conclusion that it is a very pleasant and comfortable place. Although I have only spent a short time there when visiting a longtime friend, I am always pleased by the care that is taking place. The staff seem to know what they are doing, and seem to enjoy the work that they participate in. The residents also seem to like the staff, and I know that my friend who lives there has no complaints about the care from the staff. The facility is also something that I think to be very nice. The rooms are always very clean and well organized. The rooms in which the residents stay are also very pleasant. The rooms are very large, and from what I have seen firsthand they accommodate the needs of the residents. The only complaint about the rooms that I have is that, some of the rooms have to share a bathroom with the room next door. Although no all rooms do, I feel that each room should have its own personal bathroom, so that the residents have more privacy. Overall I feel that it is a very welcoming place, and I would recommend it to anyone.
