This facility is so unique in many ways. The amenities are gorgeous. The staff is incredible. The food is amazing. It is a very calm and caring environment for anyone in need of assisted living our memory care services.
Moving my dad into assisted living was a difficult decision, but this facility has given our family tremendous peace of mind. The staff is exceptionally kind, compassionate, and genuinely cares about their residents. They take the time to listen, treat everyone with respect, and create a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The price is very reasonable and fair for what is provided. Mike has been especially wonderful throughout the process. He is incredibly responsive, helpful, and always willing to answer questions or address concerns. His communication and support have made a huge difference for our…

He is incredibly responsive, helpful, and always willing to answer questions or address concerns. His communication and support have made a huge difference for our family. One thing that also stands out is how quickly the team responds when a resident calls for help. Their responsiveness and attentiveness have exceeded my expectations and have been incredibly reassuring. Like any community, there are occasional minor hiccups, and every so often a request my dad makes may be forgotten by a caregiver. However, when concerns are brought to the staff’s attention, they are addressed promptly and with genuine care. Overall, we have had a very positive experience and are grateful to have found a place where my dad is safe, cared for, and treated with kindness. I feel very relieved knowing he is here, and I would recommend this community to other families looking for compassionate assisted living centers.
We’ve had a wonderful experience at the Inn at Bear Trail. My dad moved there almost a year ago, and it has been such a huge relief knowing he has someone watching over him around the clock. The team does an excellent job keeping me updated on any changes in his health, which gives our entire family great peace of mind. The staff is incredibly helpful and genuinely friendly—Mike, in particular, stands out for his responsiveness. There’s always something going on, with thoughtfully planned events and a wide variety of daily activities that keep life engaging and fun. The accommodations are lovely, and the pricing is very reasonable for the level of care and attention provided. What truly sets this place apart is the balance it offers—residents have the freedom to live life on their own terms while also having the reassurance that they are well cared for. Most importantly, it has taken a tremendous amount of worry off our family’s shoulders. Knowing my dad is in a beautiful place, surrounded by kind people and receiving great care, allows us all to feel at ease. It’s truly a place where residents can enjoy life to the fullest.
My mom loves it here. They have activities galore and the food is awesome.
My brother was in assisted living previously in Beavercreek, Ohio and Bear Trail is like Night and day. So much better in always. The response time of the employees there is impeccable. The facility itself is absolutely beautiful and does not have the feel of assisted living, but rather a holiday Lodge. The communications director, Mike, is wonderful to interact with and very communicative in all areas. The staff as a whole from the front desk, the nurses, and the aides have been quite pleasant and again incredibly quick to respond when my brother has needs. I am very happy with making the choice to have my brother live at Bear Trail, as I feel as though his quality of life will be better overall. I would recommend this assisted living community to anyone looking for a community for a loved one.
A Five-Star Haven for Mom (and Peace of Mind for Me!) After interviewing 9 assisted living facilities across Columbus this past March, I did what any thorough first born Genx son would do: I interviewed my Mom to create a criteria ( all one floor, near her grandkids, theater, decent food, had a fireplace to sit by and read/crochet, fun people to play Euchre with, fast internet for Zoom calls with her family, etc.) created a spreadsheet, took notes, captured all the move in and monthly costs, and probably annoyed more than a few executive directors with my questions. But the moment I stepped into The Inn at Bear Trail, I knew I'd found "the one." And I'm not just saying that because it smelled like fresh flowers and good decisions--though it absolutely did - even the Memory Care unit! (trust me that's a key clue that they are on top of things). What sealed the deal? The staff. These folks are the real deal - Starting with Mike Harvey who runs a tight ship over there and is super attentive via text or voice at all times. His aids and nurses are professional, warm, and genuinely there when you need them. They move through the halls like a well-choreographed dance team, always available, always positive, and always one step ahead of what my mom needs next. They're proactive about her care, catching details I'd miss and implementing solutions before problems even arise. It also did not hurt that they were the most affordable option out of all the other AL places I toured in the Columbus area. My mom is thriving, and honestly, so am I. Knowing she's in such capable, compassionate hands? Priceless. If you're searching for the best care for your Mom or Dad and you want them in the Columbus area stop searching. You've found it. Highly Recommended. No spreadsheet required.
Dad has been at The Inn at Bear Trail for about six months now. I have to say that the standard of care he has received has been outstanding. The entire staff is so friendly and make a real effort to get to know both the resident and the residents family. The charge is led Mike Harvey who really sets the tone for the environment. I often eat dinner with dad and they do a great job of providing nutritious and visually attractive meals. They also do an excellent job of maintaining the facilities and giving it a very homie feel. The nursing team is top notch and do a great job of keeping us up-to-date on how dad‘s doing. I highly recommend The Inn At Bear Trail for your loved ones.
I would highly recommend The Inn at Bear Trace. We moved my father in last month from out of state after his wife passed away, and this place has been such a blessing. Everyone is extremely friendly, welcoming, and attentive. My father has Parkinson’s, and they offer great occupational therapy and physical therapy. Mike has made the transition so easy, and my father’s aid Candace is fantastic. I could praise every single person we’ve interacted with so far, but that would take too long. This is a great facility and we have been more than happy with their services and staff.
