4.2 · 5 reviewsI would strongly encourage families to think carefully before choosing this facility for their loved ones. Unfortunately, our family’s experience became increasingly upsetting, and we feel other families deserve to know what we experienced. I would strongly encourage families to think carefully before choosing this facility for their loved ones. Unfortunately, our family’s experience became increasingly upsetting, and we feel other families deserve to know what we experienced. When my aunt first moved here, we had a generally positive impression of the staff. Many of the nurses were kind, and we initially felt that she was in good hands. Unfortunately, that trust did not last. One of our biggest concerns was the disappearance of my aunt’s jewelry. Gold, silver, pearl jewelry and other belongings went missing while she was living here. My aunt was a single woman with no children or spouse and had spent her life collecting meaningful items from her travels around the world. Some were family heirlooms, while others had special memories attached to them. She wanted some of these items to be buried with her and had intended for others to be passed down to family members. Because they went missing, we were unable to honor those wishes. What makes this even more upsetting is that the facility itself warns families not to bring valuable belongings because they may be lost or stolen. If management already knows residents' belongings are at risk, families should take that warning very seriously. In our experience, valuable and sentimental items did disappear, and we were never able to recover them. We also had an extremely inappropriate interaction with someone who appeared to be a supervisor or manager. A family member asked a simple question about construction work being done on the exterior of the building. She had experience working for a company involved in home construction and was genuinely curious about why the exterior was being replaced when the facility had only been open for approximately a year. Instead of simply answering the question, this woman became confrontational and asked, “Who exactly are you?” When our family member explained why she was asking, the woman eventually said, “What are you, autistic or something?” We found this completely unacceptable and incredibly disrespectful. Our family was not initially rude or confrontational. We genuinely wanted to get along with the staff and believed they were taking care of our aunt. After this interaction, however, we felt that the way our family and our aunt were treated changed, and we began noticing more instances of rude treatment. Our aunt eventually passed away, which made everything even more difficult for our family. She deserved to have her belongings protected and her wishes respected. Losing irreplaceable family heirlooms and personal items that she had collected throughout her life was heartbreaking. We understand that assisted living facilities can be difficult to operate and that staffing can be challenging. However, families are trusting these facilities with people they love during some of the most vulnerable moments of their lives. Residents deserve dignity and respect, and families deserve to feel comfortable asking questions without being treated disrespectfully. I am sharing this because I wish our family had known more before choosing this facility. If you are considering it for someone you love, ask detailed questions about how residents' belongings are protected, how missing property is investigated, how complaints are handled, and how family members are treated. Our family went in wanting to trust this facility, but by the end of our aunt’s stay, that trust was gone.
The place is clean. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable.
Kingsbury has been an incredible place for my loved one. From the very beginning, the administration was genuine, compassionate, and truly invested in making sure our family felt supported every step of the way. You can tell they genuinely care about their residents and treat them with the dignity, respect, and kindness they deserve. Knowing my loved one was surrounded by people who truly cared brought our family so much peace of mind. The staff goes above and beyond, creating a welcoming environment where residents are not just cared for—they are valued. I am incredibly grateful for…

I am incredibly grateful for everything the team at Kingsbury Senior Living has done and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a caring and compassionate senior living community. our family bothered the Executive Director on his vacation, and he called us back and assured us it was Ok! the Food is ok, but we are picky eaters. the only negative I would say about the community is the hours the front door is open I wish it could stay unlocked later then 5PM, I would like to get let in faster, but I know security is important.

The facility is well thought out and the staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. The food has been good and they work with each resident to ensure that they are getting something they like each week. They have been extremely helpful from day one with excellent care and communication.
