Lost Creek Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center

I was here for 8 months. It’s like a prison. Your clothes get lost. Over half the aides and nurses are more on their phones then taking care of patients. The “Maintence” guy never fixed my toilet it would run forever unless you wiggled the handle. They lied to my transplant doctor stating they’ve taken care of transplant patients before and after my transplant, refused to let me shower for 2 weeks until my surgeon wrote a letter, which I knew what to do when showering.. I was told I was the first one. Insulin wasn’t checked was just given insulin without knowing my numbers. You’ll get an attitude if you ask for different food. Certain aides treat patients that have issues poorly. The ONLY part I liked about this place is the activities department. They would do a lot of fun things with the residents. No, Administrator, no one to keep you updated on Doctors appointments, medicine or anything. The staff played around more than giving care!! DO NOT GO HERE!!

I currently live at Lost Creek Rehabilitation Center in Lima Ohio. Much of the staff department heads are rude and abusive. For three months I have yet to receive physical therapy for my heart attack because they never evaluated my condition and UHC United healthcare insurance requires prior authorization. The room they put me in had ten broken things from leaky sink to closet door falling off, unfinished painting, blood stained curtains, bad housekeeping not cleaning the floors, bedside table twice dropped trays of food, the kitchen gives unhealthy food for type 2 diabetes, the maintenance and social worker staff yells from first day first hour about my room restrictions. They are mostly females that bond together against the residents. The local ombudsman was very biased and dismissed my complaints because she is good friends with the social worker. The kitchen abused me by routinely giving me milk but no cereal or cereal with no milk. I don't trust the integrity of Lost Creek or the local ombudsman. The facility wasted three months of. Medicaid payments with no therapy. My health condition got worse after the hospital. This is why I don't trust Lost Creek Rehabilitation Center. Randall Loomis current resident.
