Meadowbrook Care Center

I wish I could give this place negative stars. My father recently stayed here after having part of his leg amputated to receive physical therapy. While the majority of the staff were nice, they were negligent. There were several occasions where my dad pressed his call button and it took the nursing staff over an hour to respond. He was experiencing a breathing episode during one of these instances. He had to call my sister for help and when she showed up, three nurses were standing at the desk socializing. On the last night that he was here, he had another breathing episode and asked to be transported to the hospital. They told him it was just anxiety and that he would be fine. The next day he was rushed to the emergency room due to a build up of fluids that were in his lungs. He also requested a diabetic diet which they ignored. If you have a loved one with any kind of serious medical condition, please do not send them here.

Meadowbrook consistently demonstrated the highest in communication, collaboration and tremendous caring. Everyone demonstrated compassion, competence, confidence, conscientiousness and unparalleled commitment to caring for the patient.

I have been a resident here at Meadowbrook Care Center for about a year now. When you come in you are greeted by the best receptionist in the world. Robbie This is a very clean facility. The social worker Lisa is one of the best workers I have ever had. Therapy is also very wonderful. Nursing and aides do a wonderful job caring for the people. They could use more experienced and long term help. The food is good but could use improvement as well. Which I believe they are working on. Activities is a great program as well keeping us entertained and challenged. Other things that could improve are response times to call lights. In their defense I think they are short staffed at times.

We are so grateful for the. Outstanding care my brother-in-law has received at this nursing home. From the nurses and aides to the activity staff and administration, everyone has been compassionate, patient, and professional. The staff truly goes above and beyond to make residents feel comfortable and valued.

When I go to visit my fiancee at Meadowbrook the staff makes you feel welcome and everyone is nice and they take great care of everyone there.
