The staff that answers the phones are some of the rudest people I've ever encountered in my life. The amount of cold transfers is ridiculous and nobody seems to know anything and couldn't be bothered to find out. I've worked in healthcare long enough to know this is not how to conduct business appropriately.
We would like to express our gratitude for everything King David did during my sister’s 5+ week journey to her end of life. We had the opportunity to interact with many areas at KD and our reaction is positive. This included many caring team members from admissions, activities, rehab, hospice, nursing/aides, maintenance, and clergy. Too many people in our community have unrealistic expectations when dealing with these types of facilities. We would like to express our gratitude for everything King David did during my sister’s 5+ week journey to her end of life. We had the opportunity to interact with many areas at KD and our reaction is positive. This included many caring team members from admissions, activities, rehab, hospice, nursing/aides, maintenance, and clergy. Too many people in our community have unrealistic expectations when dealing with these types of facilities. This is not the Ritz and it’s not a hospital, but what we found is that if you keep an open mind, demonstrate patience, and advocate constructively with realistic requests; then things get done. The grass is not always greener elsewhere. We have no regrets, only warm feelings about our experience in a very trying time for our family. Thank you, KD.

From day one, her passion for caregiving and commitment to her team has been evident in everything she does. She's not just a leader; she's a mentor, a supporter, and a friend to both staff and residents alike. Her door is always open, and she listens with compassion, offering guidance without judgment. She treats every staff member with genuine respect, and she’s constantly advocating for our needs and well-being. Whether it’s staying late to help on the floor, celebrating staff milestones, or simply offering a kind word on a tough day — she goes above and beyond, every single time. The culture she helps create is one of warmth, teamwork, and excellence in care. Under her leadership, morale is high, communication is strong, and residents receive the attention and dignity they deserve. She leads not with authority, but with love — and that makes all the difference. We are incredibly lucky to have her. Truly the best ADON ever!

I been here at at King David for 5days now and the food is beyond awful!! If I see another carrot I'm gone start hopping, if i see another piece og chicken, im going to lay an egg. Someone need to call the state board asap!! and the cooks needs To be fierd quickly!!! It's a crying shame and the foods fit for dogs. My 10 year old grand child can cook better dishes. Period!!!
