Amazing staff and care. I felt heard and very well cared for. My nurse Ciara was an absolute God send! Her bedside manner, knowledge, empathy and sense of humor were exactly what I needed! The techs, nutrtion and housekeeping were all fantastic!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about my experience with Mercy Health, from the Emergency Department to my stay on the 5K floor. Every single staff member I encountered was kind, compassionate, and truly went above and beyond. The PA in the Emergency Department showed incredible compassion by holding my hand while I received several lidocaine injections in an extremely painful area. That simple act of kindness meant more to me than they will ever know. The entire team knew how upset I was because my family vacation was at risk, and they worked incredibly hard to move my surgery up…

The entire team knew how upset I was because my family vacation was at risk, and they worked incredibly hard to move my surgery up earlier than originally scheduled. Thanks to their dedication, I was able to recover and still enjoy time with my family. Throughout my stay, my pain was well managed, and whenever my anxiety started to get the best of me, the nurses, providers, and staff took the time to listen, reassure me, and comfort me. I never felt like just another patient—they treated me with genuine kindness, respect, and empathy. Because of the exceptional care I received, Mercy Health has earned my trust. I will continue to choose Mercy Health for my healthcare needs, including the Urgent Care on Allentown Road. Thank you to everyone who cared for me. The compassion you showed made a difficult experience so much easier, and I will never forget it.

The doctors and nurses from the emergency room to my over night stay in my room was very nice and professional and was very satisfied with them. The only thing I didn't like was the food for my meals first I never received a menu to pick my meals and the food I did get was either was ice cold and on 2 of my meals my food wasn't even cooked and was cold. I'll just say the 2 days I was there I had hardly anything to eat. But the kitchen people need to be a little nicer and they never came back for the dishes the nurses ended up taken the dishes out. Let's face it,no one looks forward to surgery, but the staff treated me with the utmost respect and compassion making the whole experience as pleasant as possible. The quality of care was also excellent including recovery being better than expected (shorter and less painful than expected). Thank You again for the quality care both before and after !!

The nurses, doctors, and the support staff were all so good. Nurses were quick to respond and meet his needs. Doctors and nurses answered our questions and did not at any time make us feel like they’d rather be somewhere other than at their work.

I See Why St. Rita’s has a 3.9 review score!! My doctor sent me to the ER to be admitted my blood pressure was 232/110. My blood sugars 396. All the ER did was ekg and put a blood pressure cuff on me. My heart felt like it was going to burst out of my chest. At one point my pressure was 198/175 the bottom number indicates there's a problem. I was concern, the nurse said its an error you must have been moving Im 58 yrs old a former STNA of 18 yrs I know to be still. I was never hooked up to a heart monitor so how do they know my heart beat was regular? They pumped 2 bags of 2 different meds through IV my pressure dropped so fast 5 minutes later discharged at 167/88 I felt worse . After dischargd which now you dont sign papers to be released? I walked pass 2 nurses and almost fell over I walked out to my car like a intoxicated person I do NOT smoke or nor drink nor do drugs. WORSE PART: My ER Nurse Josh told another nurse who called his name asked a question he replied while standing at my door " As soon as I kick this one out " St. Rita’s ER Dr. Kohn horrible bedside manners 3 minutes into his conversation he said give you meds get you out" mind you my own doctor Dr. Bhatti was very concerned enough to admit me but ER did what they wanted to regardless how I felt . I could have still had a heart attack dropping my pressure too quickly. I dont think they ever bothered calling my doctor. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!! VERY JUDGMENTAL AND PREJUDICE. ST. RITA’S PICK AND CHOOSE WHO THEY WANT TO ADMIT. I HAVE GOOD INSURANCE. EVERY REVIEW THAT SAYS GREAT SERVICE ARE WHITE PEOPLE. MAKE YOU WONDER! IF I WAS WHITE WOMAN WITH A BLOOD PRESSURE 232/110 THEY WOULD IMMEDIATELY ADMIT A WHITE WOMAN WITH INSURANCE. I came to The ER Very POLITE CHRISTIAN WELL DRESS BUSINESS WOMAN THEY DISREGARDED MY NEEDS and Dr. Bhatti request to admit me. I'm home with a migraine chest pressure and a prayer.

My family recently had an experience at St. Rita’s Medical Center that was, unfortunately, extremely disappointing. What should have been one of the most important and memorable moments of our lives became stressful and, at times, traumatic due to the care we received from much of the staff. While there was one notable exception, Nurse Sandy Williams, who provided outstanding care, compassion, and reassurance throughout our stay, the overall experience was far below expectations. Sandy took the time to answer questions, provide peace of mind, and treat us with kindness and professionalism when we needed it most. Unfortunately, our interactions with the OB team and several other nurses were frustrating and concerning. Communication was poor, concerns were often dismissed, and we frequently felt unsupported during a critical time. Rather than feeling cared for and guided, we were left feeling anxious, unheard, and uncertain. We understand that healthcare is demanding and that every day presents challenges, but patients and families deserve attentive, compassionate, and competent care—especially during childbirth. We are grateful for Nurse Sandy Williams and the positive impact she had on our experience, but one exceptional nurse should not have to compensate for the shortcomings of an entire care team. We hope this feedback is taken seriously and used to improve the experience of future patients and families

From the moment I walked into the Ottawa Emergency room, until I was transported to the hospital, I had EXCELLENT care. They were immediately on top of my situation, running test and doing necessary blood work. After being transported to hospital, that excellent care continued with a wonderful staff of doctors, nurses and technicians. I was 💯 happy with my experience!
