My family member has had a wonderful experience at Optalis Health & Rehab at Mill Run. The staff is truly amazing everyone is kind, compassionate, and always willing to help. The therapy department has made a tremendous impact on my family member’s recovery. Their therapists are knowledgeable, encouraging, and genuinely care about helping patients regain their strength and independence. My experience here has been great. I had an amazing support team, some of the few wonderful people on my team were Julie and Maria my floor nurses and of course the wonderful Jay the nurses aide. They all were always willing to help me and talk to me.The nights were rougher just with longer wait times but still had a great time here. Another one who was helpful was the activities person Brittany, she helps me order the food I want and always brings a smile to my face. I recommend this place to anyone needing rehab or needs help getting back on your feet. Everyone has gone above and beyond for…

My mom has been here for two years for long term care. She receives wonderful care and the nursing home staff communicate with me with any questions we have. If I send a message, I typically get a response within the hour. It’s clean and the courtyard is really nice if you want to go outside. When we were getting my mom admitted, the staff was helpful with finances and insurance. The staff, nurses and aides all truly care about the residents and it shows.

My husband has been in Long-Term Care @ Mill Run for 5+ years. I have seen so many good, caring staff come and go during this time. It's so important to have consistency in care with dementia patients and this isn't always taken into consideration here. We have lost wonderful nursing caregivers due to personality differences w the administration. The most recent great experience is with Stacey Fink in the activities department. My husband is declining mentally and physically. Over the past couple of months, I asked every person I thought could help with having music from the t.v. in his room. Hospice was in the process of getting a cassett player. Stacey took time to check the t.v. for Cable hook up - only to discover it had never been enabled on his t.v. In a short time she had his favorite, Bluegrass, in his room. He actually responded by clapping when the song ended. I can't express my (and Gary's) Thanks enough for her diligence and concern in getting this small but significant task accomplished.

My stay here has been wonderful, it feels like home and it is a safe place with kind people. I live in the AL (cranberry park) and have had such an incredible time here. Michelle has gone over and beyond for me and made the transition so smooth. All of the staff is very welcoming and nice! It is also a very clean and nice smelling place. Highly recommend this facility.

If your loved one cannot advocate for themselves, do not leave them at Cranberry Park of Mill Run. Our family dealt with constant issues, countless meetings, and repeated excuses about being “understaffed.” Yet whenever JCS or ODH made planned visits, the facility suddenly looked completely different — fully staffed, spotless, and everyone magically off their cell phones and actively “working.” The last time I visited my dad, something was obviously wrong. Staff could tell me nothing except that “he was tired and didn’t want to wake up this morning.” It was 12:30 in the afternoon. I called 911 myself. Once he arrived at the hospital, they inserted a catheter and over 3 liters of urine drained from his bladder. No one had recognized the problem. No one had acted. The catheter was never able to be removed after that. My dad never made it back home again. Families deserve honesty, accountability, and actual care — not performances during inspections.

The people here are really nice. The food is really great. They treat the people here with respect. I had the best team with Jay,Julie and Quinn. They are really awesome. I would recommend this place to anyone needing the help. This place is wonderful

Very nice experience! The staff are very friendly and helpful!! The facility is very clean and easy to get around.
