This is the worst Nursing Facility I've Ever seen. The Employees are very lazy. They won't even answer the telephone. Or when they answer they will switch your calls and they will keep transferring your calls. The screens in the windows are worn out. I went to visit a friend. The toilet was Sooo dirty. I even took pictures of this place. They need to fix it up or close it down. Again I got pictures of this place you won't believe.

This place is a mess went to visit my brother for the first time since they moved him there from out of state found him laying in a bed with just a blanket no pillows no tv no nothing just staring at the walls he hasnt had a shower in god knows when just bed baths the floor was dirty i went and bought a mop and cleaned it my self the toilet was leaking i bought a remote for his tv got it hooked up for bought him food and other stuff most it was stolen by the next day hes totally disabled and cant do anything i feel so sorry for him his cell phone got stolen no one in the facitly has anything…

Needs new management i feel trapped and would like to find another facility its just hard to do given his condition this is so heartbraking makes me sick even thinking about it imagine that was you having to lay there like that day after day worse then being in prison. They are getting a new administration hell they need to sweep mop get these people some tvs call around find a church or chartiy that maybe willing to step in with donations get some pillows i did buy my brother new pillows got his tv working needed a remote a new tablet if it dont get stolen and ordered him a new cell phone even their break room just had a tv nothing else some tables and chairs and i dunno if its because they temp moved them there since the other building had a water pipe break or whatever but geesh they can do better with what they got get some games for them or something where in the hell does all the money go that they charge medicaid its not going to improve their lives because they pay the staff and feed them and not much else from what i can tell free frustatred and they havent got my brother out of bed since his last dr apt his health has declined sharply both emotionally and physically :(

Mountain Crest is not a nursing facility of any kind. It's a place where people who don't care, love or want to be bothered by their family members so they just dump them there and walk away. My youngest brother who is only 48 yrs old was diagnosed with vascular dementia. There was no physical therapy or occupational therapy no memory care unit for patients with dementia. When I went to visit my brother for the first time at this facility I was completely flabbergasted I was completely confusing I didn't know staff from patients.I had called the facility in the evening time and it rang off the hook so I called back and a man answered the phone I asked him was he a nurse or a aide he stated neither one I heard the phone ringing so I answered it ARE YOU KIDDING ME WHAT IF IT WAS AN EMERGENCY come on. I did meet the young man that is training to be an administrator and I also briefly spoke to the social worker who promised me that she would call me so we could get the process started to transfer my brother back across state line because she didn't know how to do it and I'M STILL WAITING FOR HER CALL !!! But now we're so happy that he was transferred to a different facility closer to home now where they specialize in dementia care and the therapy he needs. And most importantly his children can come and spend time with their Daddy and not be scared of their surroundings. Sincerely Yours The Maish Family

If you love your family member, do NOT let them be put here. The facility is filthy and it is borderline neglect the way residents are cared for..or not cared for which is a more accurate description.

YA’LL!!!!! A lot of these “positive” reviews done within the past 4 months are FAKE!!! This place is the filthiest place on earth and the Human Resources lady Camrese is absolutely HORRIBLE!!! Don’t believe these fake positive reviews.

My mom receives skilled nursing care here. I placed her here in a state of desperation, as I am her only surviving family member and have carried the burden of all of her needs. When I chose Mountain Crest, I didn't choose it because it's the most beautiful place in the world. It isn't. It doesn't have fancy walls, fancy flooring, or fancy patios. I chose it because of the staff. Every staff member here has been beyond helpful, caring, and kind - not only to my mom, but to me. They work hard, they keep things calm and peaceful. They also know when it is necessary to be unkind. Let me explain. My mom is in the dementia building, and with dementia patients, there is a high risk for a lot of accidents and accidental self harm. The team is very keyed in on these needs, and they know when a firm voice is needed in order to cut through the "dementia haze" and get a patient's attention. Many people will witness this and come online to write a negative review, but the reality is, dementia patients occasionally need a loud, strong, and firm voice in order to keep them safe. The staff are not only attentive, but are very good and switching into and out of that sort of "drill sergeant" mode in order to keep patients safe. When my mom came here, she was unable to leave her wheelchair. She looked as if she'd aged twenty years in a week, and she could barely remember any details of her life. On my most recent visit, she was smiling, had made friends, and was even getting up and using her walker to get around! She also looked about twenty years younger. It doesn't have the prettiest walls, but it's run by some gorgeous people who know what they're doing. I would highly recommend them if you have a family member with skilled nursing needs.

I love mountain crest health care nursing home. It's the most beautiful place I've ever seen and the nurses are extremely beautiful and sexy. If I ever grow to be a old man I'm going to mountain crest nursing home.

My brother is there. I visited him and was surprised it didn't smell like other nursing homes I had visited. The staff was nice and helpful. My brother doesn't like change so I'm hoping he warms to his new home.
