If you have a loved one in this facility please visit them every day and be attentive to them. I know this type of work is hard but please remember that you have people's lives in your hands. How you treat them and care for them affects their physical health and mental health. If you cannot handle this responsibility please consider another profession. There is a lot I could say about my experience when my loved one was in this facility for a few weeks. If you have a loved one in this facility please visit them every day and be attentive to them. I know this type of work is hard but please remember that you have people's lives in your hands. How you treat them and care for them affects their physical health and mental health. If you cannot handle this responsibility please consider another profession. And PLEASE have options for patients who actually are trying to eat healthy. Most of the patients are diabetics and have heart disease. The food is extremely high in sodium and sweets are encouraged. My loved ones health declined while they were in the facility. Unfortunately I did not have the authority to take my family member out. If I had I would have taken them out right away.
My mother had the absolutely worst experience in this rehab facility. I yanked her out after 3 days of non-care. They talked but never delivered on anything they said could be done. Most aides were aweful in responding. Call lights not working or ignored! I would not send a love one here unless you are staying with them the majority of the time which defeats the purpose of help.
