4.0 · 22 reviewsArrived half hour late as directions online were incorrect. They were not told to expect me even though I was scheduled. Caregivers were excellent and compassionate with the 3 residents. Idea of an actual home is excellent although the house could have been cleaner. Not suitable for my loved one as her Alzheiners is not as severe.
My Mom was in the home at Symmes . She had no one to talk to except the staff. When I went to get her to move her out she could barely walk. They were supposed to have her ready and she was still in bed. I don't know what they gave her but she wasn't ever that bad when I went to visit her and was in good health when I moved her there except for having Alzheimers. I would not recommend this facility.
Amazing organization and high level of care given to all the residents.

No good staff not clean unsafe
We moved our Dad into Our Family Home on Bramblewood Circle in March of 2015 after a year and a half at another memory care facility. It was a difficult decision as we knew that transitions in that stage of Dad’s Alzheimer’s disease could prove difficult. However, we felt that the benefits would outweigh the costs associated with this type of move. We strongly felt that Dad’s needs were not being adequately addressed where he was. The difference (and relief) that we all felt after moving Dad was measurable! For one thing, the worry I had about Dad not being well cared for, began to melt away immediately. I began sleeping better as I no longer woke up during the night anxious about his care. The kind and compassionate staff put us all at ease. And seeing the attention Dad was receiving was such a relief. He made the transition flawlessly because of the loving, consistent approach of the Caregivers. In January of 2017 our family decided to move our Mother into Our Family Home with Dad after her recent stroke. They were able to spend the last 8 months of Dad’s life together while being taken care of by the attentive Caregivers. It was such a blessing to have them together again and it made our visits so much more enjoyable. We celebrated their 67th Wedding Anniversary in April of last year with a big family party at Our Family Home! It was a joyful day filled with wonderful memories for all of us. Dad left us in September and again we were comforted by the same Caregivers that have become “our family”. Their ongoing excellent care of our Mother brings us such comfort. What do you say to a group of loving, caring, attentive people like those at Our Family Home? You say,” THANK YOU” for blessing us and for bringing quality and joy to the lives of our parents! We are so grateful for Our Family Home!
I would send my loved one to this home. Love the small setting. Love the at home environment. Love they have Heartland Hospice.
I have loved seeing all the improvements over the year. I really appreciate how you take care to make my grandma look nice each day with cleanliness, dress, jewelry, etc..
We have been blessed to have both our Mother and Dad live in Our Family Home on Bramblewood Circle in Montgomery, Ohio. We moved Dad to OFH two and a half years ago and as an Alzheimer’s patient we found the patient centered care to be exceptional. The kindness, tenderness, and compassion with which he was treated made the days up to our losing him this past month very sweet. In addition, we were able to move Mother into the same home with Dad this past winter after she suffered a stroke. Their patience and encouragement of Mom has been remarkable! Having them together made it feel truly like home when we went for our visits and the Caregivers added to that “family home” feel. My parents weren’t just residents there as the loving Caregivers treated us all like family! We’re grateful for our Family Home and would highly recommend them to anyone searching for the best place for Mom and/or Dad.
