I’ve just had my former husband become a resident of Our Family Home (the longview drive location). He’s only been there for 2 days but, he’s adjusted really well to the change. He’s eating, working puzzles & interacting with his care givers. It has given me peace of mind to know that after trying 3 other facilities this one has out done all of them. I think the 2 to 5 ratio certainly has made a big difference in how Bobby’s reacting to being in a new environment. The other 3 facility were much bigger. I think the 2 to 5 ratio certainly has made a big difference in how Bobby’s reacting to being in a new environment. The other 3 facility were much bigger. The staff, nurses, aides & cleaning people were all overworked & had way too many people to attend to. The money is well worth the excellent care that each resident is given. Also, Bobby has been able to sit outside in the sun for hours & do crafts (which he loves).

Have been very pleased with the facility. Questions and problems addressed readily. Staff kind, caring and professional. Pretty stable staff, not large turnover. Love the home setting atmosphere.

Very happy and pleased so far. The quality of call depend on the staff and the staff has been very good.

Excellent TLC to patients! Staff is very attentive!!

I toured this home in the beginning searches of looking for long term care for my mother. The owner and director of development were very helpful in educating me and allowing my mind to be at ease that there are other options than nursing homes out there. I look forward to placing my mother at this home when the time comes.

My parent is at Our Family Home. It is a house with five bedrooms and five people. She is getting excellent care. I would recommend this facility. In Ohio, we don't have that many facilities like this one. My parent has Alzheimer's, and the only thing available for Alzheimer's patients was the traditional Alzheimer's lockdown facility where they have 20 to 30 people and maybe 2 to 3 caretakers. We tried those, and they just can't help us. There were just too many people. Our Family Home is a much better alternative. There is always staff turnover, but these people have been here for awhile. The staff here is much better than the other facility. They don't have a full time activity director, but these people do have Alzheimer's. However they do bring in individual things for individual needs. Besides, I would rather have my parent bathed, fed, and taken care of than somebody trying to make her play bingo when she doesn't even know who she is.

It has been a wonderful situation for our mom. Her care has been excellent.
