This place runs with agency. The reason is allegedly human resource lady is digging things up an potential staff she is allegedly very prejudice and very nasty to potential staff.
stay away took 2hr plus check on resident 6-doors down nursing station food late with excuses management team whell?
Park East is a great facility. There are so many new changes going on! New management is great. Deborah, the administrator, is known for turning things around in long term care. Joyce is an great DON with a lot of years of experience. She is extremely knowledgeable in the nursing field and handles everyone's concerns as urgent as if they were coming from her own family. Park East is definitely the place to be for skilled and long term care.
I’ve never in my life seen a business ran like this. I turned on my call light and several times someone shut it off without answering it. What if something was seriously wrong? Two hour turn around time on a call light? This is BAD for business... Starting to feel like the only good thing about this place is the therapy. Over it. Been up since 3a trying to get assistance and it’s 5:36 NOW...still waiting...smdh
Horrible horrible place! Very unprofessional, no staff at the front door, no one ever answer the third floor phone, they are always on their phone and gossiping! Its a complete mess...very disappointed with the service and definitely do not recommend. STRAY AWAY PLEASE
Too bad it can't get 0 stars.
The problem with this facility is the nursing staff/stnas/management. My mother was here and she always had a complaint with the aides and majority of the nurses. She would say the aides where rough demanded residents to go to bed when they wanted they couldn't stay up the aides always on their phones at the desk with some of the nurses creating drama and gossiping about one another. Everything was always late no one had any compassion what so ever. Nurses would not listen to my mother's complaints. My mama said there was an agency nurse who not only listened to my mama but immediately handled all of her needs she said the staff gave this nurse a hard time my mama loved this nurse and she looked forward into seeing her because she made it easier for her to be at park east she said the nurse was there for a short time because she no longer seen her and when she asked about her a staff member said she wasn't coming back this devastated her. My mom went to the administrator to complain about the staff but she was never available and when she was she was not interested or did she do anything about it. I could go on about the problems this facility has. My opinion park east needs a new administrator, new aides and some better nurses.. until then this will be a messy building... The only good thing about park east is the maintenance director he went above his job description helped out and my mom remembers him well.. Genesis needs to clean house if you want this business to last...
My mother has been in Park East Care & Rehabilitation Center for three months now. She is going to meet with her primaries today to address her condition. They manage her on a day-to-day basis and provide the physical therapy, speech therapy, memory care, and all that. I have 24-hour access to go see her anytime. I can go there first thing in the morning and late in the evening. That is a good thing. She works with her therapist daily to work on her speech, memory, walking, hand motions, and things like that. The staff is very helpful. I enjoy all of them, and their communication is really good. The place is OK. They serve meals three times a day. They have doctor on-site.
