Very caring staff
Mirian at the front desk was very sweet and pleasant. She loves the residents.
Horrific place. My grandfather died after falling multiple times in their care and breaking his femur, one of the most difficult bones to break in your body. No one checked him, or they covered it up, and he cried in pain for TWO DAYS before being taken to the hospital. They labeled him difficult and sedated him to keep him quiet instead of helping him or trying to figure out what was wrong.
0/10 recommend. buildings reek of urine, residents neglected, staff is rude & unbothered. they only care about their favorites. nasty
terrible establishment & let me tell you why. management offers certain workers extra pay & tells them they cannot discuss this with other employees. nurses and staff especially on assisted livings south & north are constantly bad mouthing residents, employees, management & families openly. unfair treatment of staff, favoritism was obvious in assisted living south. employees working under ratio, unsupervised. employees vaping in buildings, hiding, and sleeping on shift. nurses on ALS leaving med cart open, ignoring residents & staff health & safety concerns. family members wandering in staff only rooms without any discipline. the list of concerns goes on & on, and i haven’t even begun to touch base on the sanitary issues; mold & bugs in kitchens, dishes left stained & dirty. bathrooms and doors not locking & unlocking properly. awful establishment. 0/10 wouldn’t recommend to put family here or work. it’s a sick joke.
Horrific. They wheel residents through the hall naked with a only a sheet thrown on top, the sides of their bottom and thighs exposed to get to the bath, going past visitors, residents and maintenance workers of the opposite sex. NO dignity is provided. The hall smells terribly of urine and feces. You will walk past people who smell of number two and you know the staff smell it too but don’t clean that person up. It took over four hours to get Tylenol for my loved one, asking every hour, while they writhed in pain. An RN criticized my loved one’s choice of watching juvenile shows on TV, right IN FRONT of them. Always short staffed because the rich owners want more and more money in their own pockets.
The Assisted Living has been wonderful to my Mother….the only complaint she has is the food but that is normal everywhere…..
My friend sits in his own excrement for more than an hour. PRN pan meds can take up to 4+ hours while he cries. Nurses aides are very nice but way overworked. Sometimes 2 staff for up to 30 residents if someone calls off. When staff call off Park Village NEVER calls in agency staff. This enables The owners to become filthy rich by scrimping on your services. The6 are one of the richest families in town.. My friend would be put on the toilet and he would be left for 20 minutes, begging and crying for help. Pushing a buzzer means nothing. I had to call the front desk and threaten to complain to the state to get someone to assist him. Cost is almost $10,000 a month yet the RN director/ OWNER yelled at me for asking for his blood pressure to be taken during an illness. because she was too busy. This claims to be “skilled nursing care.”
