3.5 · 174 reviewsTop notch care given, they took great care of my grandmother in times of need. Thank you to Jen her guardian angel!
Everyone seems to want help around here, but slow on the response time. I have been eating instatutional food since was 14 off and on til I was 22, and the food here seems to be better than some in the past. They do tend to way over cook the vegetables. Anthony, and Jaylen (sp) have been good to me when I needed help with a few minor things. Some medical and some not. The female aides have been very good to me as well, when I can catch them.
Upon entering this Sunday, the smell of urine hits you in the face. Every breath you inhale has a patients foul aroma to it. After checking in and taking walk to end of the north hall you will notice soiled linen bags hanging outside of patient's room. It was so uncomfortable, the patient I was visiting suggested we go outside. We had been sitting in the lounge area where the arcade game was, but it was a soiled linen bag hanging on the door about to fall off due the sheer weight, made it hard to even want to sit down. It makes you think that every fabric piece of furniture has been urinated…

It was so uncomfortable, the patient I was visiting suggested we go outside. We had been sitting in the lounge area where the arcade game was, but it was a soiled linen bag hanging on the door about to fall off due the sheer weight, made it hard to even want to sit down. It makes you think that every fabric piece of furniture has been urinated in. A staff member walked thru spraying a can of air freshener, but it was easily defeated by the amount of saturated linen on most of the patient's doors. The facility is beautiful and accommodating to the patient's needs. Clean floors and walls, pleasant and engaging staff.

The living is modern, easy if challenging at times. I ended up in the Assistant Living quarters after a questionable therapeutic evaluation removed me from the skilled nursing area following a traumatic event I had experienced. Manager. Danielle, is responsive and accommodating, and quick to act if things go wrong. Unfortunately aides are often slow to respond to the help buzzer residents are given, or sometimes don’t show at all. Nurses are difficult to access particularly if there is an urgent issue to discuss. Overall yhe food is good, but the kitchen seems unresponsive to requests. I indicated I did not eat red meat, but it is constantly offered on my plate. Overall, staff is pleasant. The receptionist is very helpful, and one staff member was helpful in getting my diet changed from “ mechanical” to “ regular.” The grounds are pleasant, but would suggest the smokers be relegated to a specific area. I would recommend Legacy to any family looking for a clean, mostly efficient, facility for a love one in need. A friend once shared the largest toom on earth, is one for improvement. R. E. Kisner
This review is for the CNA Dominique. She is the best. Her shift started at 7 p.m. and she came in my family members room by 7:05 to introduce herself. She immediately went to work and answered all of our questions. You can tell that she genuinely loves what she does. If you get her, she's the best.
I would like to take the time and thank Pleasant view and their staff for an amazing job of taking care of my grandparents. They bring caring for your loved ones to a whole new level, they truly treated them like family. I feel they receive this kind of care from being independently owned and able to treat the residents like family instead of just patients. From the greeting at the door from the secretary’s, to the aids and nurses, truly five stars. I feel confident in saying I would highly recommend them for your loved ones, and that you will have the same experience as me. Thank you again Pleasant View Nursing for all that you do and have done for my grandparents.
I wish I could give Pleasantview a "0". The staff are rude and nasty. They would not answer my dad's call bell for over an hour, then walk in and say, "What's your problem now?" I personally experienced their complete apathy and lack of caring to my dad. My dad entered their rehab alive, and in less than 2 weeks, he was dead! If you care at all about your loved one, you will NOT put them in this place. It should be shut down!
My uncle is currently in this facility they’re only bathing him twice a week sometimes once. His food is always cold. Sometimes the meal only contains four pieces of broccoli and nothing else. They’re short staffed. They barely answer the phone when you call. Please do not send your loved ones here they’re supper neglectful and don’t care about anything but money
