Had to wait 10 days for a follow-up with spine specialists. They were shocked I was not given a prescription for pain medication. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST!
I had a tubal ligation here yesterday done by Dr. Clemons (LOVE her!) and every single person I came in contact with was so incredibly kind and accommodating. From registration to the OR everyone was amazing. The nurse I had for my IV and other pre-surgery things (he goes by Bud) calmed my nerves with his sense of humor and awesome personality. The whole thing was so seamless. Dr. Clemons did an incredible job, as my surgery only took about 30 minutes after anesthesia. My incisions are so small and seem to be closed very well. I appreciated the option to use the hospital pharmacy and have the medications brought to my bedside to take home! My boyfriend's brother-in-law also had a procedure here a couple of weeks ago and they also took very good care of him as well.
Kiel Pfefferle, And the Summa Barberton Staff were AWESOME . I had a hip replacement and I highly recommend this location. The anesthesiologist were great, my surgeon was awesome, staff was awesome, the food was very good. My pain was controlled. Pharmacy and all other services were done at my bedside. I highly recommend.

I was admitted to Summa Barberton hospital they took some time to get me in a room. My family was on one floor of the hosp and I took my hearing aids out of my ears and put them in my zipper Bible cover since over the hours involved they were worn down and needed charged. My son mike took them up to a room on another floor and put my items in the entrance corner. When the family came up they had moved my belongings to the far corner of the room. I had them give me the charger so I could charge up my hearing aids, I could only one. I let my family and the hospital attendant know. They were unable to find them. As I recall they let a police officer come up and question me and then another police officer police officer came to me when I checked out. My wife and daughter were there. My daughter Janine has checked numerous times and they finally said they couldn't do anything. I even wrote a detailed note filling out a request in response to a form from South Bend Indiana. All of the questions were answered with very positive thanks for the excellent treatment by the hospital -I did ask about the hearing aids-but did not get a response. Unfortunately I have been purchasing Coctco hearing aids and they do not have a replaement matching single hearing aid for the set-I had to purchase a complete set. I am looking to an independant local company to purchase hearing aids that carries the same supplier . Thanks for your response. Sincerely, Richard L Thomas

Had a ultrasound appointment for 3:00pm was calling My Ride at 3:02 The technician explained I was her last patient of the day, she was leaving before me, was told it would take 30 minutes not 30 seconds Something is not Right about this procedure,
Nursing care for mother in law for the most part. Interestingly, she was not offered a washcloth to wash her face or offered to help her wash up. The discharge planning including patient and family nonexistent that was quite disturbing and very disappointing!
Terrible experience in the ER. They sat me in the hallway instead of giving me a room, after giving me something that made me drowsy. They also talk so loud that I could hear other patients personal information, including their medication and diagnosis. I won't be back.
