Do not place your loved one in this facility. They promise the world to secure your business, only to go back on every commitment once you move in. The entire purpose of memory care is to give families peace of mind, but our experience was the complete opposite. The facility is severely understaffed and lacks adequate resources; my grandfather was routinely left unchecked for hours, and management then pressured us to hire an outside, full-time private sitter—defeating the entire point of paying for residential care. The staff is clearly untrained in managing standard Alzheimer’s behaviors…
The staff is clearly untrained in managing standard Alzheimer’s behaviors like agitation and wandering, treating my grandfather like a burden and constantly calling our family to intervene for minor issues. On top of these systemic failures, Nurse Amy demonstrated an appalling lack of compassion, unprofessionalism, and terrible bedside manner. Transitioning a loved one into memory care is already devastating, and no family should have to endure neglect and hostility from the very people paid to provide care. Springhill, do better. Please if you want peace of mind do not put your loved one in here.
Do not bring your family member here. It is unsafe and incompetent staff. Missing medication times and having to fine a qualified tech or lpn to give meds on time is never-ending
I am looking forward to moving my mom into Spring Hills when a room is available. My choice was made very easy from the time I took my mom to visit with Laura & staff, to walking the facility and speaking to many residents. I am thrilled that my mom is excited to move there as well. We are ready, Laura. Just give me a call and we will begin the process. - Ann & Shirley
Springhills was wonderful to my mother and me. I do highly recommend it if that is where your loved one needs help 24/7!
I've been consistently impressed by the staff at Spring Hills since my first visit several months ago. Now that my dad is a resident, his impressions are the same. Everyone has been warm, kind and helpful. Dad loves the food and personal care. I couldn't be more pleased with our choice of senior community.
I have tried for a week to contact someone at Spring Hills Middletown, Ohio location to get information for my mother. I can’t even talk to a living person there. Plus I can’t leave a message requesting someone to call me back because the Laura, the marketing person’s, voicemail is full. I would never dream of allowing my mother to enter an establishment run so poorly.
The facility is clean and everyone is very friendly! The staff is always willing to help and go the extra mile! Most importantly, my sister is very happy!! Highly recommend! Caroline Poedtke
My mom has lived at Spring Hills almost 8 years. She is 102. The staff has always been so kind, caring, and helpful from day one. . They all greet her by name whenever they see her. The atmosphere is homey and inviting. She loves her one bedroom apartment. The nursing staff and caregivers have been especially supportive through several medical issues. I’m so thankful for them. Mom enjoys the daily activities and I appreciate that they assist her in getting to them. They have also helped us host her birthday celebrations every year…going above the call of duty. They have been a blessing to my family!
