Friendly receptionist, she really cares about people
Such an amazing campus! The assisted living has beautiful apartments for your loved ones! All the staff are friendly and welcoming. The long-term care side has an amazing outside courtyard for the resident's and families to enjoy.
Avoid this place at all cost! Moved my mom into TSWC in midst of new ownership. Nothing that was presented to us during our initial tour of the facility actually took place after mom moved in. Multiple staff changes, including nurses, aides, chefs, administrator, and beautician. My mom went to hospital and was there two weeks and no one from the facility contacted me, not even the resident doctor nor DON. The administration wreaks from the lack of professionalism! I regret not being more informed about the new owner and their mission to operate with the least amount of support, and I question…

Do not put your loved one in this facility!!! My mom moved in right as this place was sold to a new owner. Obviously the new owners came in to cut costs on everything, from food to the care. Many long time employees have quit (or fired). Food was horrible, chef quit. My mom got her hair done once because beautician quit, not enough aids for all the residents. There was lack of communication from the administration. One day when i was there, there was dried blood all over the handrail in hallway. The lady that sat at the front was the most helpful person there. Very disappointed
Both of my parents are at The Suites of Walnut Creek. Even though they are at different levels of care, they are are side by side and together most of the time. The staff is very caring and attentive. And, my parents are comfortable.
At this point I would hesitate to recommend it until we see what the new corporate owner does. We picked this community because of the atmosphere, proximity to my older daughter home, Medicaid certified
BAD. EXPERIENCE
Run. If you care about your loved ones do not put them here. Do your research. Employees leave often because they are understaffed and mistreated.
