The looks of the facility are nice but don’t be fooled. My husband has been there since May19th, 2026. The physical therapy is great. That’s one thing I love about it. The nurses have been amazing. The AIDS are a nightmare! Talking in their phones while changing soiled garments, shaming him for it. I reported it and then he overheard them talking about me reporting it. The food is also atrocious. He simply can’t eat it. He also has 5 broken ribs and they are giving him Tylenol for pain. Who does that! I had a meeting with someone in Admissions named Stephanie on a Monday and listed all my concerns and was promised 3 phone calls back regarding it is days later and I have not heard from anyone. The phone call I just received from my husband is that he had a soiled garment and pushed the buzzer and he called me at 8:58am. No one had came in. He had a sacrial wound that required two surgeries and the skin is very thin and he can’t sit in his shit for long, especially not for almost 2 hours. Thankfully, his nurse came and got someone after that. I am to the point of pulling him out! This place was at the top of our list to go based on a previous stay and now I would NEVER recommend it. Update: After about 90 minutes from posting this I finally get a call. Because of a negative review and she said it was because of this. ! I guess if that is what it takes then so be it. We made the decision to continue his care and rehab at home with home healthcare and physical therapist. Watch where you leave your loved ones. My husband was able to speak up to tell me what was happening. Imagine if he couldn’t.

It is nice to find a facility that cares for your loved one in a way that you feel comfortable that not only their needs are being met, but their wants as well. They truly treat their residents as family.

I almost left zero stars. Looks nice initially and there are some day shift that work and take good care of the residents but night shift and weekends , a whole other ball game. Wound not even send my ex husband here, and I can’t stand that man!!!! Horrible patient care

The staff in every department care about the patients and do what they can to make sure all patients needs are met. It is also very clean, has good food and doesn’t have odors!

Sycamorespring is such a clean and beautiful facility. My grandfather loves living here. The nurses and aides take such great care of him.. They have a really great group of caregivers there and I enjoy coming for visits.

I don’t even know where to start with this review because there were so many things that went wrong. If you don’t have the time to read the rest of this, just know that I would NEVER put a family member into their care here again. My grandmother has been to this facility for periods of 2-3 months on two separate occasions to receive rehabilitation care. The first time, in 2023, we had an overall good experience. So when she injured her wrist during a fall in December of 2025, we took her back here for another stay. However, there has been a change of hands at this facility in the past few years and I the quality of care has fallen way down to the point of being extremely unsafe. The biggest complaints that I have are the following: 1. On MULTIPLE occasions, the nurses attempted to give my grandmother the wrong medication. Luckily for us, my grandmother is mentally very healthy so she was able to recognize they weren’t her pills and spoke up. However, not everyone in this facility is mentally as well and may not have recognized they were being given the wrong medication. This could be a life or death mistake if someone is given the wrong pill. And the fact that to my grandmother alone in a 2 month period, it happened twice leads me to believe this is a common occurrence at this facility. 2. A nurse dropped a pill on the ground and instead of doing whatever the proper protocol was, she gave it to my grandmother to take anyway. Making someone take a pill off the ground is dehumanizing and against any common sense and proper nursing protocol I have ever seen. 3. My grandmother, by protocol, was supposed to receive a shower two times a week. They often times neglected this and she went up to 10 days without being showered. 4. Personal items of my grandmothers were stolen by staff out of her bathroom. 5. The day before my grandmother was set to be released from the care of this facility, she came down with a very serious wheezy cough. She asked to see the doctor and they clearly did not do any sort of thourough examination. An hour after she was discharged, she was diagnosed with RSV at a local urgent care. Where the doctor was appalled that facility would release a patient in such condition. This review is far from the first time all of the above AND MORE have been metioned. My mom was on the phone with the administrators of this faculty multiple times a week trying to get these problems resolved. Every time the people on the phone would assure my mom that everything would be taken care of, and time and time again, the basic care needs were neglected. Absolutely nobody wants to have to be put into a facility when they are not well, and being here made this experience for my entire family a living hell. I would not send my worst enemy to this facility going forward. The people running this facility should be ashamed of the neglectful “care” their staff is providing to a very vulnerable demogrpahic.

Worst place to go, they never even change the bed sheets. If you are diabetic, they will feed you a high can diet. Stay away from this facility.

The facility is very nice to look at and physical therapy does a really good job. Now as far as being kept in the loop, I am my brother's POA, they fall short. Was told yesterday his copay for Medicare started on the 17th, that lets me have 6 days to figure out what to do because 210.00 per day is impossible. They did not mention it during the care plan meeting we had just almost 2 weeks ago
