Poor communication from their leadership. No response to my correspondence. Just "ghosted". Very unprofessional.

My mother in law, Mary was there for around 8 years. She started out on Assisted Living and really liked it. She had a couple falls though and declined enough to need rehab. After a while she transferred to the Serenity Unit on 5 South, after it had been newly remodeled. She never had a bad thing to say about anyone. We were always updated with health changes, skin tears, or new Dr. orders. We visited often and I never heard anyone speak out of turn to the other residents. Kind and compassionate staff. She passed away just recently and we are grateful for the care she received there. Thank…

My mother 91 years old, went to MHC for rehabilitation after a fall, she was discharged home, no better than when she went in, I did more with her at home, in one week, than she received there, different issues that I discussed with the DON, were not fixed as promised, as for the CNAs, I admit my mother demanded a lot of the staff's time, but it is their duty to learn her needs, and patterns, so as to be ready to execute her needs in a timely manner.

This is the best facility ever! They took wonderful care of my mom during the last months of her life.

Our Mom has lived here for a couple of years now and is well taken care of. She lives on the memory care floor and the staff is wonderful. Maddie is the most caring and sweet aide and Mom loves her. Can't say enough.

This facility very strictly follows procedures / rules. They do not care about my parent as an individual. Instead, they care more about following the rigid, written policies in their manuals and procedures. Many of the staff also seem to lack common sense and compassion, and instead strictly follow rules / manuals / procedures. This has been a very disappointing experience for my parent and myself. The staff are also patronizing and condescending. They seem to lack any kind of flexibility or awareness of individual needs and circumstances. Instead, they follow strict policies and procedures. I regret bringing my parent here. Although “Christian” in name, this facility lacks heart and compassion.

I was amazed out how good it smells every time I have been there. Never any bad or medicinal smells. The food always looks and smells good. The staff is always friendly and approachable. The Memory care unit duty nurse carries a designated phone that you can call/text directly 24/7. I'm sure the activities in the memory care unit are more pared down from the rest of the facility, but they do still have activities including finger nail painting on Saturday night which my mother loves. They also do crafts, movie nights, prayer meetings, bingo, an on going group puzzle. My only issue so far is being able to get in touch with the Dr. he only visits that floor on Tuesday and I have yet to run into him. Security seems to be good to protect everyone. You need a code to get on the elevator from the floor and it won't work without another code if anyone with a monitor is in the elevator. There is a nurse and a nurses aid on duty 24/7

I worked her through Agency twice and I love this place!!! Great nurses and aides especially the aid Laura she’s a beast. I’ll be back for me!!!
