Referrals haven't been sent out like they should been sitting on the desk for months.You had employees that really didn't care about their job and the food isn't great. Now that they have changed their name to Wayne Health and Rehabilitation Center it's still no difference. A patient's call light had been on for 20 minutes. She had to use the bathroom. I had to call the front desk to tell somebody before someone came in to take her to the bathroom. You have head nurses talking to you with attitude and try to give too much of a…

Before they changed their name this place had already sucked. Referrals haven't been sent out like they should been sitting on the desk for months.You had employees that really didn't care about their job and the food isn't great. Now that they have changed their name to Wayne Health and Rehabilitation Center it's still no difference. A patient's call light had been on for 20 minutes. She had to use the bathroom. I had to call the front desk to tell somebody before someone came in to take her to the bathroom. You have head nurses talking to you with attitude and try to give too much of a certain medication to them. I definitely don't recommend this place at this present time. The head nurse should be fired, not suspended or written up, but definitely fired. You got people leaving nice reviews because they don't want nothing happening to their loved ones while they're there. I love my loved one and I wouldn't want nobody go through what she going through so I'm going to speak honestly.
Trash. Absolute trash. Filthy, the workers do not get the residents out of bed in the rehab unit. They let them rot in bed and urine (when they’re not even incontinent, they just needed help getting up and couldn’t get it) If your looking for a good rehab facility for your loved one, this is NOT it. We removed my father in 6 days due to PT not being done and him left in bed 99.9% of the day. The bathroom had feces all over it for a good 18 hours at least (not his) Good luck to anyone that has to deal w this place!

Great team and wonderful facility.
Look no further if you want to be greeted rudely. I was visiting a friend and was welcomed with a nasty attitude and the secretary staring me up and down like I was bothering her. I was uncomfortable and felt like she was talking about me, considering she was talking to a coworker and they both kept staring at me. It seems like this mean behavior is common here from the other reviews.

The Laurels of Huber Heights is a wonderful rehabilitation and long term care facility. My loved one has been here since July. They started in the rehab side and then transferred to the long term care. The staff is caring and attentive and very supportive. Our family has had experience with many facilities in this area and this is by far, the best of them. You will not find a “perfect” place but this place is working hard every day to be the best. We are grateful for the care they provide.
Definitely a facility to accommodate all or any ways of moving forward for yourself or your family. I personally appreciate each and everyone thats a part of this facility. Ty all
