She complained to me that she over heard staff specifically the manager there talking poorly about residents as well as staff members. she quoted “ive never heard such horrible comments about their employees as well as my friends, and it disgusts me to think about what they could be saying about me.” Im not impressed at all, there seems to be no communication of possible issues between management and residents with their caregivers as well as other staff.…

I recently went in to visit my grandma and had a very poor experience. Around lunch time, she transported to the dining room and was sat. She complained to me that she over heard staff specifically the manager there talking poorly about residents as well as staff members. she quoted “ive never heard such horrible comments about their employees as well as my friends, and it disgusts me to think about what they could be saying about me.” Im not impressed at all, there seems to be no communication of possible issues between management and residents with their caregivers as well as other staff. Ive never heard of a manager openly gossiping in an open environment where others can hear. That behavior is completely unacceptable, and needs addressed.
My cousin was in The Ohio Eastern Star Home for rehab. They have this nice facility. The people were all friendly and willing to help. They care about their residents. The food I think was very good, and my cousin did okay with the food. Their family could eat with them. In the section that she was in, they had a bird cage with nice birds for the people to enjoy. All I saw was the rehab center for exercising. They have different buildings where residents can be. In the dining area, there was a puzzle that anybody could work on.
Exceptional care. The staff was professional, attentive to my needs and very kind. This facility is an asset to the community. Have recommended this facility to others needing care and/or rehabilitation.

I sent my grandmother here for end of life care. The staff (Kelly and Renee) obviously cared about my grandmother's comfort and well-being. Facility is beautiful and has a home-like feel to it.

This is how every nursing home should be ran! Most caring staff of any home that I have seen. Best food, best care and a beautiful facility. They took such great care of my wife before she passed, I will be forever thankful.
