In Jan 26 I was treated for extreme nerve pain and could not walk. After three days I was transferred to the Willows in Tiffin. I had never been in rehab. I was wheelchair bound and had to be assisted from bed to hygiene and dressing. The staff was excellent, the room was very clean and comfortable. They even made schedule changes so I could continue attending Zoom meetings. Nurses were knowledgeable and pleasant. Dietary staff was great at making changes when I needed something “special”. I would not recommend this facility based of the experience with my fathers care. Unfortunately, it has felt like primary focus is on billing rather then patient well-being. When insurance issues arose, there was little to no guidance or assistance offered. Instead of trying to help us navigate the situation, we were left trying to resolve on our own during an already extremely stressful time. There have also been consistent concerns about response times. When my father needed assistance, nurses have taken an unreasonably long time to respond which is extremely concerning in an assisted…

When insurance issues arose, there was little to no guidance or assistance offered. Instead of trying to help us navigate the situation, we were left trying to resolve on our own during an already extremely stressful time. There have also been consistent concerns about response times. When my father needed assistance, nurses have taken an unreasonably long time to respond which is extremely concerning in an assisted living setting where residents depend on ASSISTANCE! Additionally, interactions with the social worker have been very disappointing. Communication has felt dismissive and lacking empathy, which only adds to the stress families already face when a loved one is in care. I understand healthcare facilities can be busy, but compassion should be a main priority and sadly that was not our experience here.
My mom came to The Willows in November when we were no longer able to care for her at home. The staff gave her 11 weeks of amazing care and helped her to die comfortably and with dignity. During the short time we were there we were so pleased with every aspect of her care, the facility itself, activities, and most importantly the staff. They sincerely treated my mother (and us) like family. The aides, nurses, dietary staff, housekeepers, and administrators are all worth their weight in gold. We have had stays in multiple nursing homes over the years and The Willows in Tiffin is superior to…

Just wanted to share our great experience at the Willows in Tiffin. My husband was at Saint Vincent in Toledo for 10 days and then was transferred to another facility which we were disappointed in and then he came to the Willows.😍😍😍😍😍 What a difference😊 he was there from January 9 until February 20. The personnel was extraordinarily wonderful, they treated him with respect and really tried to get him back on his feet as soon as possible. He loved the activities, the food, the people both in rehab, residence living and personnel. He probably would’ve liked to have stayed lol but we needed to get back in the swing of things at home.!! We are so glad he is home. Again thank you everyone at the Willows keep up the good work, you can tell your employees like to work there it’s just not a job. Sara Wax and family
You said you couldn’t ethically charge Medicare any longer for my mom to stay after a knee replacement she was there about 4 weeks so even after her telling you that she was not ready to go home we told you we didn’t want her going home yet (she’s 79 and lives alone) she has been home 2 weeks has fallen twice had to call 911 both times busted her forehead and nose but you can ethically send her home?? The day I took her home somebody thought it was a good idea to give her a muscle relaxer before I picked her up I could barely get her out of the car she was WASTED what is wrong with you people so disgusting (had to give 1 star)
I have had the pleasure of staying at The Willows of Tiffin on 3 different occasions and the staff provided great care on each of my visits. The facility was always very neat and clean, the nurses (Cheryl, Tara, Kaydence) to mention a few and all medical assistants were great plus I never had a bad meal during any of my stays. I also would like to praise the physical therapy staff, Jessica, Wendy and Kara, for getting me going again. The administrative staff were always easy to work with getting me admitted and discharged.. Please pass along my thanks to all the employees at The Willows of Tiffin. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
Amazing place to bring your loved one for care. The employees truly do take pride in their work and provide care like I have never experienced elsewhere.
I would like to thank the entire staff for the WONDERFUL “Golden Happy Hour”. It was an outstanding event and the staff entertained us so well. It was a very fun time! The staff never stop working to please the residents. My family and I would like to thank everyone for keeping me safe, happy, and comfortable living at The Willows at Tiffin. It brings us such joy to watch the entire staff enjoying their jobs.
