The front desk person was very rude
This place is a joke. Don’t ever work there. Management is awful they want aides and low paying people u know the ones that don’t get paid anything to do everything. The unit managers are awful they need replaced badly. It’s a toxic environment. The DON which is Ricci I could say good and bad things on her the thing she needs to do is learn that not only nurses run the facility, replace unit managers and other people they mainly look out for themselves. The DON which is Ricci I could say good and bad things on her the thing she needs to do is learn that not only nurses run the facility, replace unit managers and other people they mainly look out for themselves. If you looking for a job go to Seasons they pay more and the work is the same and they just got new management. New DON and ADON at the Wellspring. I had a client there literally try to choke me and they was only worried about losing him as a patient there not me not anyone else’s concerns. Look elsewhere people. Indeed has lots of jobs that pay more and treat u better.
The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with well maintained grounds and comfortable facilities. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. The community offers a wide variety of activities that promote social interaction and wellness. If you’re looking for a place that truly cares about its residents’ well-being and quality of life, I highly recommend checking out Twin Lakes Retirement Community!
Looks like a nice place, nice buildings, pretty clean- looks are deceiving. Needs new management. Staff is not friendly or attentive. Wouldn’t say hi and when you had a question they made you feel like they were being put out to do something. They say they will check on your loved one (every couple of hours- which is a long time to be left unchecked) but they do not. My mother sat with my father for 8 hours a day or more and barely saw staff care for my dad. One day we came to visit him and we heard him calling for help. He got entangled in a recliner chair, they didn’t have his nurse call button by him and he had been stuck for almost 40 mins needing help and injuring his leg/foot. Another time we came in and he was winded from not having his oxygen on and we don’t know how long he was without it. Many times I would visit I would witness the staff sitting in corners of common areas on their phones. ) clearly they all couldn’t be on break every time I came by for a visit) When we decided to pull him out from lack of care they gave me a bag of medication and another patients meds were in his bag. Do not put your loved one here unless they are on the independent living side and aren’t in the need of nursing care. Disappointed that the place had 4 or 5 star reviews that I chose the place from. I’d give it one star for the good food service and nice staff that did the food service to his room otherwise walk away or your loved one may not .
Please take your loved one elsewhere. The care on the skilled side is much less than even subpar.
Visited patient there. Rooms were rather small with a wheelchair in use. The Patient's daughter was frustrated with service levels and followup there. Patient did not like being in a lockdown memory unit. Overall, the facility looked well kept. My rating applies only to what I observed.
Would not recommend! I got to see day after day how they neglected a friend in the memory care.. I've worked in several nursing homes and this was the worst I've ever incountered. It was like walking on eggshells with the staff if you ever ask them to do anything like they were being put out. They would constantly make false promises that they would correct things that the family complained about and everything was dismissed. Take your money elsewhere also hard to believe there's only nine reviews with all the people that live here.where are the reviews?
Twin Lakes was very clean and bright. It's all enclosed. You can get to independent living and assisted living without going outside. The tour was lovely. The staff was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions. They have all the appliances you need, and you can make changes to your apartment. They are very customizable, which was nice. They have a refrigerator, stove, microwave, washer, and dryer.
