They are good at their job and very accommodating. I am very happy with my friends placement at Wellington Village.
I used to live at Wellington Village Senior Apartments. They had a very good manager but the supervisor was intimidating. It is strictly independent. No food provider or anything. Nevertheless, they are very friendly people. When I first moved in there, within a week, people started reporting bedbugs. And they've had problems of bedbugs since from 2020 to 2024. The pest control company they use is not very effective. With regard to amenities, they had a library and an outdoor place to sit, but they didn't have a gym. There's a YMCA about a mile away, so some people can get access to that.…

The pest control company they use is not very effective. With regard to amenities, they had a library and an outdoor place to sit, but they didn't have a gym. There's a YMCA about a mile away, so some people can get access to that. It's a fairly old place. It probably was built in the late 70s or early 80s. While I was there, certain equipment like the elevator broke and we had to wait a week to get that repaired. Many of those things don't get done quickly. But I think those things broke just because they were old. For activities, there were some people doing crafts and sometimes they would have group meals, but these were residents initiated. Value for money was good though.
I liked the amount of space in the apartment and it was close to my sister. And was impressed with the cleanliness of the place and the furnishings in the com spaces. I enjoy the activities and everyone is friendly and have made new friends.
The Wellington Village is close to lots of shopping, pretty grounds, attractive building, large community room, secured building, library, pretty quiet. Based on the experience I have had so far, I would recommend this community to other families.
I would recommend to others. It was friendly, clean and a good value. The tour was thorough and informative. We picked this community, for our loved one because of the affordability and value.
The friendliness of the staff is getting better. There are many repairs that are needing to be done to the building, and they could also have additional activities and bus trips. With the improvements they are making it could definitely be a better experience.
Wellington Village gets all 5 stars! I cannot say enough good things about the staff here. My parents were in terrible situation trying to get here from Florida and [name removed] and her group made it all happen.
