We are so grateful for the care and compassion shown at Wood Haven. The staff consistently go above and beyond to make residents feel comfortable, respected, and genuinely cared for. From the nurses to the support staff, everyone is kind, attentive, and professional. The facility is clean, welcoming, and well-maintained, and it’s clear that the residents’ well-being is a top priority. Communication with families has been great, which brings real peace of mind. Knowing our loved one is in such capable and caring hands means more than words can say. Thank you to the entire team for the hard work and heart you put into what you do every day.

I was livid at the neglect of nursing, and I wrote the negative review during the height of (once again), suffering severe pain. An excuse given for taking so long after giving notice that it’s time for my next pain pill (asking for it a reasonable time before the 6 hour interval) was that the nurse has a large total number of patients. I could see that was the case. I don’t know how you solve that. I just know that now that I am home and able to take my pain pill (I still need) on time, I can function normally. The food is good for an institution, and therapy, a main reason I was there after knee replacement surgery (except a couple over zealous) is good, but attention to patient in regard to pain pill timing needs to improve.. The previous record for time it took to buzz for an aide to the nurse to get my pain pill was 30 minutes. (That delay caused me to be in pain too great to go down to therapy. However, I found a “silver lining” in that I asked if therapy could be done in my room, helpful for my imminent discharge. i also couldn’t sleep last night due to the delay in delivery of my previous pill.) Just now, I started my request for my pain pill 30 minutes before the 6 hour allowed interval, and It took a new record setting one hour from request to when the pill was brought. Since it is well know that you should take your pain pill before you are in serious pain or the level will get out of hand, my concern is an important issue.

Woodhavenhealthcare is an amazing facility! The staff there are super friendly and welcoming! The residents Are very friendly as well! This is a great spot to send your loved one if they need nursing care!
