My sister was sent here from another nursing home. Previous nursing home would not deal with her psych issues even though they told us they would. The previous nursing home did not regulate her diabetes which is dangerous to her physical health. When she got to wyant woods within 2 weeks she was much better. It's not a five star nursing home it's a nursing home for mentally ill and it gets a five-star for the way they take care of and treat and respect the patients there that nobody else wants to handle. It's always been clean it's never had any smells, staff is always available and my sister…

It's always been clean it's never had any smells, staff is always available and my sister has absolutely thrived there. I appreciate how they've helped her become better and I hope she stays there for a long Time to get the care she needs! Thank you Wyant woods for respecting her, giving her dignity and taking care of all the psychiatric patients that other nursing homes failed to care for.
I care for a very high-level care woman who has mental health issues as well as Dementia. This is one of the few places that would accept a patient with all of these issues, which I commend them for. The patient care that she received was always wonderful. The people who work here truly care for the patient and from the Office to the patient care floors they do their best to take care of these people and treat them with respect. We have had very low-level care in other facilities, and I would rather send them to Wyant Woods to be cared for than somewhere fancy that treats their patients like…

The Dementia and Alzheimer's unit should get 5 stars all the way around. The Nursing and STNAs on this level are amazing and I will miss their care and kindness for someone who is very difficult to be kind to. The building is not fancy. It is run down and older. The people who work there do their very best to keep things clean and care for these high-level care patients at all times. They are VERY understaffed - as are all nursing homes - and are in need of cleaning staff to help them. The company that owns them should be giving them more in this aspect. The employees deserve to be cared for as well as the patients. Thank You Wyant Woods for everything you did and will continue to do without recognition. May you be blessed beyond measure.
Our brothers wallet was stolen The place is dirty, they have not gotten him up to walk or for therapy and other patients said they were missing wallets cell phones and other items with no resolution. UPDATE relative was able to get answers to questions and the staff is trying to address all concerns Just wish the floors and room was clean The facility needs new paint and cheery atmosphere as it is a mental health facility Otherwise the staff has been helpful since concerns were brought up to Amanda Teresa and Stephanie with physical therapy and we are pleased with the progress
UPDATE: 12/21/24 - I had come to the fact that my correspondence with my father would be never if any. Then I receive a call from a NEW SOCIAL WORKER STEPHANIE G. Stephanie has been a blessing. She has gone out of her way to use her own phone to let me FaceTime my father on several occasions. Stephanie has gone above and beyond anyone that I have tried to correspond with. It has been a blessing. Whomever hired her needs to realize her value and pay her accordingly. Having a good person as an employee is a blessing for your establishment please give her what she needs to help others. Thank you Stephanie. UPDATE: 09/ 16/24 - spoke to a social worker (who seemed so concerned about my worries) a week ago and she made plans so we could do a FaceTime every Friday @ 2. It was supposed to start 09/13 @ 2. I waited and no call. I also called the social worker and left a message. I have NOT received a call. I took off of work early so I could put my full attention on that call. Thanks again Wyant. A half day of lost pay and still another lie. Have the day you deserve. God bless My father has been in this facility for awhile now. I have been trying to call so he knows I haven’t forgotten him. I live out of state and want to make sure he is ok. I have tried to call this facility over and over. Maybe out of 15 calls (if you are lucky) they might pick up. If they do pick up they disconnect you. I have talked to everyone I can. Nurses, social workers and supposedly the person that runs the facility to see what can be done. I explained that family should be able to call and reach someone to check up on a loved one. Everyone says they understand but their actions speak way louder. I know taking care of others is a hard job but I didn’t chose the job they did. All I’m asking is for someone to do it. I’ve called 3 times this week (06/09/24-06/15/24) NO ANSWER!!!!! I’m at my wits end and don’t know what to do. It’s really sad. To anyone wanting to put their loved one in this facility please do your research. I can only speak from my experience and it’s not reassuring. Please do something so family members can speak to their loved ones. I’m sure if it was their mother or fathers they wouldn’t appreciate the treatment or worries.
It's okay...my friend just got there a few days ago....everything seemed nice
Building is dated but to be expected. It was hard to decipher which employee did what or even worked there actually i thought an aide was a resident. Not sure why employees were walking around in sleep bonnets and unmatched clothes but okay. Several patients had strong odors and unkempt appearance and the one growled at us. It's very clearly full of crazy people. That being said my mom is super crazy and no one would take her except wyant. They never once made us feel like they couldn't handle her behaviors and that's what my family needed. I didn't care about the prettiness. It's a place for the people that no one else will take. Where our loved ones go when their behaviors are too much for regular nursing home. It's not for picture perfect grandma and grandpa. As far as food goes it's the only thing my mom habitually complains about but I mean I've never heard anyone say nursing home food is delicious so... I would agree they definitely could use more activities more fun engagement not just medical. I honestly think they get a bad reputation from people blindly comming in not understanding its a skilled nursing home yes, but it's a skilled nursing facility that specializes in behavioral management. If your loved one dose not have behaviors do not look here lol
My brother has only been here 16 months but I already see a huge improvement in his mental health and overall wellbeing. The nurses are awesome and really care.
The building is dated, but the staff is great. Michelle and Jill have been amazing with answering questions and getting my gran settled in.
