My sister was in there staff is horrible. They take her stuff then cant find clothes, food Put her in room with no call button for hours. Knowing her roommate stole everything had no way to clock stuff up. Sh was not in there two days and it was a nightmare.
TLDR - no pain meds first night - No chair, only bed - Food almost always cold - Put in diaper rather than help to bathroom bc don’t come fast enough - Takes repeated asks to get her soiled diaper changed (1-2 hours+) This is my first experience with SNF, so this is based on my expectations and I don’t have anything to compare it to. The aids have all seemed nice, so I am assuming they are woefully understaffed (by management design?). The aids have all seemed nice, so I am assuming they are woefully understaffed (by management design?). My mom did not have pain medicine her first night, which I was told was typical as they have to order it. This seems ridiculous to me - unethical at worst and uncaring at best. They do not have soft chairs for patients to sit in, only wheel chairs or what I think of as waiting room chairs. So my mother (who was thin before her surgery and even more so in recovery) was confined to the bed until we brought in a small easy chair for her, padded to it wouldn’t cause pain. I will note - they told me they do have chairs and you just have to ask. However, multiple requests never produced a chair and at day 8 my cousin brought her in a chair. Food is most often cold when it’s served. I will say, the nutritionist came in and spoke with my mom and was very nice. However, serving patients cold food is unacceptable. This isn’t just a one-off - almost every single time I’ve asked, the food has been cold. They do not have time to effectively care for patients. Because she can’t walk without supervision, they have her in diapers as they don’t respond to the call light fast enough to help her to the restroom. They also do not change her when she has soiled her diaper, and she has to press the call light multiple times. I would worry if your loved one cannot advocate for themselves that they’re sitting in waste that gets changed 1-2 a day if someone who can ask is ignored. For example, today I called her and she said she’d asked twice. I called back in half an hour and she is still not cleaned up. They don’t have enough staff to drive to doctor appointments. I made my mom an urgent appointment for two days ahead due to her blood pressure dropping repeatedly, once so much she had to go to the ER for treatment, and I had to arrange transportation for her. If the staff are kind but they’re stretched so thin that they have to leave patients sitting in soiled diapers for hours, serve cold food, etc. then they are still not receiving care. A couple days after writing this review they discharged her. I asked for a copy of her records for her very short stay and they were very combative about it and are charging $62.

I stayed here in 2009 for 3 months. I was really impressed with how wonderful that they treated their patients. They really put me on the road to recovery.
Receptionist is very rude
Friendly and knowledgeable staff.
very caring staff and eager to help
I had a very close friend spend his last days at this facility. He was in the veteran wing. The staff was very friendly and caring, and took time to answer questions. I feel that they went above and beyond their duties to assist at times. Fantastic service were provided. I was there during meal times, and the food looked good. The staff cared enough to listen and get medical permission for myself to bring in amenities that possibly helped give some happiness to my friend.
