The staff has really helped me process this living arrangement for my mother. I am grateful to have the nursing/staff on her particular wing. Nursing homes in Toledo don't have a good reputation at all, I can say and see for myself choosing Franciscan Care Center was the right choice for our family. May God bless the people who aid and pay attention to the comfort of my mother on a daily basis.
The staff are always so welcoming at Franciscan Dionne and Tabatha are so helpful and Marlene at the front desk greets me with a nice hello and a smile . The team works hard to care for the staff and the residents .

FCC has always been that campus to demonstrate a high level of engagement with residents, whether it be through pet therapy or activities, this is a group that cares.
As an outsider visiting a friend at Franciscan Care Center, I was immediately struck by the palpable sense of warmth and genuine dedication that permeates this facility. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt incredibly welcoming and comforting – a stark contrast to some more institutional environments. The reception staff were friendly and efficient, and throughout my visit, I observed numerous interactions between the care team and residents that simply radiated kindness, patience, and true respect. It was evident that the staff here not only perform their duties with expertise but also with sincere affection for those in their care. Beyond the extraordinary human element, the facility itself presented as immaculately clean, well-organized, and surprisingly bright. The grounds appeared well-kept, offering a pleasant view, and the common areas fostered a sense of community. Based on my observations, Franciscan Care Center clearly prioritizes both the physical comfort and emotional well-being of its residents, creating an environment where individuals can truly feel at home and respected. If I were seeking care for a loved one, my overwhelmingly positive outsider's perspective would make Franciscan Care Center a top consideration – it's truly a special place.
My grandmother Catherine Foster was in this facility and these staff mistreated her so poorly.She say in her own urine,left out with barely any clothes,hasn't been checked up on like she was supposed and they doped her up on sleeping pills so she would be quiet.I've heard a lot of bad things about this place but this took the cake and I'm not happy at ALL!! THEY MISTREATED MY GREAT GRANDMOTHER AND OTHER ELDERLY FOLKS THAT'S SUFFERING THE SAME FATE! DO NOT GO HERE!!!!
My friend was just there and said that she hadn’t had a shower in three weeks. They also never changed her bed sheets in three weeks. So short on staff. She said the food was horrible and could not wait to leave.
My sister is in here and they are the horrible they ignore her they don’t change her they have attitude because they have to do their jobs WTH. This is not a five star rehab place do not put your live ones in here
