Holiday Alexis Gardens

Fantastic dinner and staff was amazing! Mom’s 89th birthday and everyone sang.

Alexis Holiday Gardens has been wonderful to my uncle, he moved here to be closer to family after living in traverse city for 60 years, it has been a very challenging endeavor but the staff and community have made the transition much easier

It's Independent Living. They have medical facilities and Aid facilities but they're extra cost. But it's still a reading of five. They have three different sizes they have Studio which is what I'm in and yes it's very spacious. They have one bedroom apartments which are nice and roomy and they have two bedroom apartments which are also very nice but all are different prices and different floors they have three floors that are available. They have a lot of activities here and the director's name is [name removed] and she's a very helpful person. They serve three meals a day and all of them are good meals they just don't cook individual meals they have one main course and three choices other than the main course. They do a quick cleaning of your room once a week they change your sheets pillow cases and wash them and put them back. And the staff here are excellent people very kind very gentle and very helpful.

I never really considered senior apartment living at Alexis Gardens till I heard about the Amada Senior care aides that has helped make this living situation possible for me. I was very lonely living at home since my wife passed in 2020. After my fall, I didn’t feel safe living in my home alone anymore. Assisted living facilities are very expensive. Amada senior care made the difference and helped make living her possible. I absolutely love it! I challenge you to compare assisted living facilities to Alexis Gardens with Amada senior aides and you’ll see how much more affordable it is!

We went to Holiday Alexis Gardens. It was a very nice place to look at. The bedrooms were pretty good size. We could put my husband's exercise machine in the bedroom, which could make it nice. The living room was a bit small. They did not have a kitchenette. However, I could go down to their rec room. They have a small kitchen there where I could boil eggs and stuff like that. What I don't like is that there are three or four cupboards sitting in the living room-dining room area. Other than that, that place was kept up very nicely. The dining area was super. The nice thing about it was that, if you didn't want to have a meal down there, they had sandwiches and different things in the refrigerator off to the side of the dining room, and you could go and get that and take it back to your room. The staff who gave the tour was very good at answering questions. She told us so much about everything. She walked us around the whole building. They even have a pub in that place. My kids could come over and have a beer if they want it, and we could sit down there with them.
