The staff is amazing
If a resident is at end of stage they move them to that specific building on their campus with hospice care.
I have had my loved one at Parkcliffe for 5 years and it’s the one place I know that he’s taken care of and not just a number in their building. The staff is always helpful and go out of their way and the buildings are kept clean and neat.
I was told my Dad tested positive for Covid and no one will answer the phone. I had to find out from my Dad sister! 3,000 a month you'd think they could answer the phone so loved ones will know how they are doing.
The first few houses my father was cared for in were wonderful. When he got to the last house where he needed the MOST care it was ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE! His adult diapers were not changed regularly and he developed terrible sores. He was told by attendants they didn't have time to take him to the bathroom and to just "go" in his adult diaper. He was a tall man and not easy to lift. He told me his plate at meals was taken away before he was finished. His teeth and face were sometimes dirty. HiS clothes were stolen several times. HIS ROOM HEATER WAS STOLEN!!! I had several meetings with the Director along with staff, NOTHING CHANGED!!!! While in the process of finding a decent place for him he passed away.
