I would like to thank the entire staff at Saint Therese at St. Mary of the Woods for the wonderful care and compassion they gave to my Mother in Law. Natalie and the entire staff was truly wonderful!
Saint Therese at St. Mary of the Woods is truly a wonderful community. From the moment you walk in, you feel welcomed by a team that is professional, compassionate, and genuinely dedicated to the well-being of every resident. The administrator, Michael, is kind, and it’s clear he cares deeply about maintaining such a positive environment. That said, Amanda, the HR Manager, truly stands out. She is responsive, thoughtful, and goes above and beyond to ensure both residents and staff feel supported and valued. Her warmth and professionalism make a lasting impression. The facility itself is beautiful, clean, and thoughtfully designed. The rooms are bright and comfortable, and the common areas are always well maintained. Most importantly, there is a strong sense of dignity, respect, and community throughout. We have complete peace of mind knowing our loved one is in such capable and compassionate hands. Highly recommend!
When this was run by St. Mary of the Woods it was a lovely place. When St. Therese took over in December 2024 it went downhill fast. The people who work there are so nice and very compasionate, however, the people who took over and are running the facility now are not so great. The food is not the best quality and some of the things that were once included in the already high price to live there are now an extra expense. They nickle and dime the people who live there. Not what I would call a "Christian, non-profit" way to run things. If you are in "assisted living" they now want to charge for…

Not what I would call a "Christian, non-profit" way to run things. If you are in "assisted living" they now want to charge for the food to be delivered. If your are unable to get to the dining room to get your food because you need assistance, how is it OK to charge a fee to deliver the food to these people? I will agee it is a beautiful facility and the grounds are very nice. There are some nice amenities like a beauty salon, a chapel and a Bistro. The Bistro used to be very nice but now the food is not that great and half the time there is nothing in the coolers. I was floored when they charged $3 for one banana. They may put on a nice show when you tour the facility but I say beware. Hopefully, one day it will go back to being run the way St. Mary of the Woods ran it.
I look forward to being a part of the woods
Therapy Staff were wonderful, patient and knowledgeable of exercises to help and restore movement. Aiden,Matthew,Jessica, and everyone were caring and took time to listen and help accordingly to my needs
St. Therese at St. Mary of the Woods is a beautiful community with a wonderful, caring staff who truly go above and beyond. I was recently in the Independent Living and the residents were happy, engaged and are always encouraged to participate in meaningful activities. It is clear that this is a warm, supportive environment where everyone is treated with respect and compassion. Highly recommend!
What a beautiful facility ! Activity and dining areas are brightly lit , wide open spaces and hallways making pleasurable inviting areas to be a part of . Many activities offered with caring staff encouraging residents to be engaged ! Well balanced healthy meals made to order as requested with many options and alternatives available . Food comes served to a beautifully decorated table with calming music playing in the background . As a family member, I was able to enjoy a few meals with my family member and the experience was terrific . Kudos to the dining staff as well. They work very hard to please all. Can’t say enough with how clean the whole place is and you’ll often be greeted by a warm welcome at the reception desk and others throughout the facility during your visit . Keep up the good work !
Epic fail if you come here to entertain, especially when you’re a musician. I am a member of a small combo, and we entertained the residents once a month for years. This year, we were cut back to four times a year. A new activities director wanted to “try out other options”. When we showed up for our first job under the new regime, we found out that we had been canceled, because they had “something going” at that time. They rescheduled dates, then complained because we didn’t show up on the original dates. The rest of the dates were confirmed, then abruptly cancelled without explanation a couple weeks later. I’m done with this “Christian” train wreck.
